Chrisette is a rising star. The sweetness in her voice is endearing. I especially like the song, Good Girl. It would be a wonderful wedding song to pay tribute to the father of the bride. There were several songs that I enjoyed, "Work it Out", the "Best of Me", "I Am". Pretty much I whole CD. It was worth the money and my time.Free Music Review: Suprisingly Gifted Vocalist

Hearing the lead single "If I Had My Way" over and over and over and over again, I was left thinking, ..."Not bad!!..What does the rest sound like?!" Well....after finally buying the CD, I declare that this young lady has vocal talants that have yet to be tapped! Her timing and phrasing display influences of famale R&B and jazz vocalists of today and yesterday. When you really, really listen to her sing these good songs, you can even hear some John Legend influence peppered with some Corine Bailey Rae! This is ALL GOOD!!!!! I absolutely love the cut "MR. RADIO"!! That should be her followup single (especially if she is seeking a Grammy nomination next year! The CD is outstanding. This young lady will have a bright and full professional future at the rate she is going now!! The CD is called "I AM"! ......She is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Music Review: Chrisette Michele

I purchased this when it came out last summer, and I regret not listenting to it right away. I listen to this CD so, so often, I sing it to myself all day. Chrisette Michelle's style is a welcome change to the soul music scene, and I can't wait to hear more of her. If you like living, jazzy, energetic, and soulful, you should try this out.
