Free Music Review: Cinderella Story

This is a nice collection of songs from Cinderella, and it is the only CD I have of them, used to have the cassette tape of Night Songs and Long Cold Winter also, and I seem to remember alot of album tracks were pretty good also, so I do miss songs like "Once Around The Ride", and "Fire and Ice" quite often after listening to this collection.
They always to me seemed like something heavier than Aerosmith, but not too far off like on a song like "Love's Got Me Doin' Time" which sounds almost exactly like an Aerosmith song. But on early songs they seemed to mix the bluesy stuff with the hard rock/hair metal very easily. Cinderella seemed to get away with the sound, it probably wasn't until another similar band called Britny Fox came along that perhaps people drew the line, it was getting crowded and the whole scene was getting a bit stale, but Cinderella continued on, and left behind a pretty decent body of work.
Good to have "Move Over" on here along with a few others all in one place....I am still getting used to "War Stories", and "Love's Got Me Doin' Time", but I do like "Through The Rain".
"The Last Mile", "Shake Me", and "Gypsy Road" are favs; "Coming Home" I was happy to see was on this one also. Very bluesy hard rock that comes across in a very positive light more often than not, makes you feel good so it hits the mark at least for me anyway.
