Free Music Review: Great, But Overlooked
Hit: 5 Stars

It's too bad that this album was buried under the landslide of all the awful "grunge" that took over the music scene in the early nineties and killed off great, musically worthwhile bands like Cinderella.

This album is, in my opinion, one of the ten best albums of the nineties, which isn't saying much, since most nineties music is pure trash. But this is a truly deep, soulful album. You can find yourself in the lyrics of the songs.

I'd say may favorite tracks featured here are "Bad Attitude Shuffle", "Hard To Find The Words", "Still Climbing", "Freewheelin'", "Through The Rain", and "The Road's Still Long". "Hot And Bothered is also pretty good.

So, overall, this is a good solid album, with more than enough great songs to warrant the five star rating.

Free Music Review: Most underrated blues based rock/metal album.
Hit: 5 Stars

This has GOT to be one of the most under rated blues based rock/metal albums of all time. Cinderella rocks in their finest tradition in this body of work. Why is this still not in print? Makes no sense to me. Beg, borrow or steal a copy and you won't be sorry if you are a true Cinderalla fan. I surely hope Tom's voice improves well enough to put out one more album of this caliber. By the way, Cinderalla sounds as good live as they do in the studio! I saw them at the House of Blues in Chicago and they ROCKED. Never heard a bad sound so close to their studio sound. They really do sound exactly like on their CDs, unlike most bands. And they still look cool too. :-)

Free Music Review: Just like the old days
Hit: 5 Stars

I've been re-connecting with my 1980's musical roots recently and bought this album out of curiosity. I LOVED Cinderella's first two albums, Night Songs and Long Cold Winter, so I wanted to see what a somewhat newer release sounded like. This album is great! It sounds like it's right where Long Cold Winter left off. The music is blues influenced rock and roll along the lines of AC/DC. Tom Kiefer's vocals are nothing short of amazing. He is such a talented song writer/musician, and it shows on this album. If you liked their earlier releases you'll love this one! Mixed with rockers and Cinderella's trademark ballads, this rates 5 stars in my book.

Free Music Review: GENIUS
Hit: 5 Stars

Great blues based rock! I received this about two days ago--my other cds are have been temporarily-quite possibly permanently-banished from my cd player. This is a "Best Yet" for one of music's finest. "Blood From A Stone" is quite catchy. This album has a different sound than a "typical" Cinderella record-it has a darker sound and the blues influence cannot be denied. You will not bore of this record. Well written both lyrically and musically. Songs with meaning, now that's refreshing. And I thought it was sweet how the record was dedicated to Tom Keifer's mom.

Free Music Review: ALBUM TITLE SAYS IT ALL
Hit: 5 Stars

It seems even a little sad that this album never was payed it's proper dues. Coming out in '94, well after the glam era was written off, Still Climbing never recieved the attention of Cinderella's earlier albums, although it was definitely one of their best. With ballads such as Hard To Find The Words and Through The Rain, the album shows the band's ability to switch up the tempo. But the real show in this album is the heavy guitar on such songs as Talk Is Cheap and All Comes Down. This is one of the few albums I have, that I can listen to each song without ever skipping.
