Free Music Review: Keep climbing
Hit: 4 Stars

The fourth (and final studio album) from Cinderella is a solid rock album that went literally unnoticed given its release date. The album was released in 1994 when glam rock was all but dead. Had this album been released between 1986 1nd 1989 it would have been hailed a rock classic from that ere. But in the 90's, grunge rock and alternative rock ruled the airwaves and glam rock was all but forgotten. And now in 2009, people are craving the glam rock from the 80's and alternative rock is all but forgotten. And as far as labelling Cinderella glam rock, this is highly unfair. It was their first album, Night Songs, that had them all decked out in girls clothes, make-up, and the mandatory hairspray that associated them with glam rock. Their second effort, Long Cold Winter, saw them take off the make-up and put forth an amazing rock/blues album. But even when they released their third album, Heartbreak Station, they just couldn't shake that "hairspray" image. Long Cold Winter and Heartbreak Station are two amazing albums that should not be associated at all with so many of the "one-hit-wonders" of the hairspray/glam era. Still Climbing was another solid effort from Tom Keifer and the boys but it was all about timing. The songs on Still Climbing are great and even though Tom's voice struggles in certain areas due to his vocal health issues he can still deliver like no other. There are many rumours that Tom Keifer has a solo album completed but has yet to be released. There are thousands of fans who would buy the his album because Cinderella was so amazing and he was just so talented. I personally can't wait for Tom to recover and release his new album.

Free Music Review: Return to form
Hit: 4 Stars

The fact that Cinderella existed (+ still on a major) in 1994 was somewhat of a surprise to me. And perhaps to many in the genres fanbase. But I was game, so bought and IMHO;

This is pretty good. Gone (still) are the silly band pics showing a bunch of pretty boy wannabes. Also tossed out are the country rock stylings of Heartbreak Station. Instead we get a vastly more mature rock album. A whole bunch of these tunes sound like more considered versions of what they put on their first two discs - cases in point being Bad Attitude Shuffle, All Comes Down and Blood From A Stone.

There are still introspective tunes, done with far more aplomb than attempts at similar stuff by Poison or the Crue. This album also contains the track Hot & Bothered which was used on the Waynes World movie soundtrack.

This is the only Cinderella album I've given four stars to. A low four stars but four stars all the same due to the consistency of the tunes, the blend of slower numbers with the rockers and the honesty of the blues based rock as opposed to some of their peers whose links to the blues were far more tenuous and their attemps to embrace the blues laughable (yeah I'm lookin' at you Poison).

In fact outside of a best of this is probably the only Cinderella album I'd suggest for a newcomer as it's probably their most accomplished studio effort.

Free Music Review: STILL CLIMBING, "reaches new heights".
Hit: 4 Stars

Musically speaking, that is, but as far as the charts are concerned, I wasn't even aware of this record, until recently. Even though, it was released in 1994. Nonetheless, still worth checking out, if you are a fan of Cinderella, with some good solid material on it.

Free Music Review: They Realy Got Me.
Hit: 4 Stars

Tom Keifer are good songwritter & vocalist. This album include best song that Tom write "Hard To Find The Words". So if you like glam music buy it.

Free Music Review: STILL FALLING

Forget it. CINDERELLA will never be curd of their mediocrity in writing rock songs. THis album adds nothing to their horrible "discography". Blergh !
