Free Music Notes for Cinema Paradiso: Original Soundtrack Recording (1989 Film)

Free Music Review: Almost Great
Hit: 4 Stars

I want to like this more. It draws from an intense message, but fails to become a complete CD. However, it is still strong and worth buying.

The movie is careful and filled with love and warmth, of familial redemption and lessons about what matters. The score, however, is repititious in its use of the main theme.

The theme is wonderful, as are the secondary pieces, but the melody floats in and out of so many cuts, it gets monotonous.

See the movie, hear the music in context, and then buy the music.

Free Music Review: Soft and pleasent melodys
Hit: 4 Stars

The soundtrack of "Cinema Paradiso" is one of the charming ones, I have ever heard. The soft, delicate sounds of music which were created to tell the magnificent story-line, realy capture the heart of this movie and make the characters alive once more.
I enjoyed this CD very much and I would continue enjoying it at the future, whenever I require quiet piano melodys to get me through the day.

Free Music Review: One of the best
Hit: 4 Stars

The "Cinema Paradiso" soundtrack is romantic without being sappy, simple yet not boring or trite. It somehow manages to remain true to the rustic Italian setting of the film while simultaneously paying homage to the classic American scores. Maybe just a tad too repetitive.

Free Music Review: Great soundtrack
Hit: 4 Stars

I love this soundtrack. Really beautiful. Of course the same two themes are repeated over and over but who cares?

Free Music Review: Lovely but repetitive
Hit: 3 Stars

Wonderful music but the lovely theme is developed repetitiously --- not a lot of variation here. Once you hear the theme, you hear it again and again and again.
