Free Music Review: A great soundtrack Hit: 5 Stars
I have never seen the movie, but it sure does have a great soundtrack. Every song on here, including the original score pieces by Gabriel Yared are good. With it's eclectic mix of styles from blues to rock to alternative to orchestral score, this album is a keeper. My particular favourites are Sarah McLachlan's "Angel" and Alanis's "Uninvited", but the soundtrack is good from beginning to end that I never need to skip songs. The booklet includes track info and photos from the film.
Free Music Review: Truly Angelic Hit: 5 Stars
A delicious combination of rock, blues, classical score, and a haunting contribution from Alanis which falls into no category, this OST is simply the best I've ever heard. The main attractions here are without doubt the Goo Goo Doll's Iris, a cutting and melancholic arrangement of drums, strings, and Johnny Rzeznik's whispery voice; Sarah M's equally saddening Angel, and tracks from Jude and Peter Gabriel. Having said that, every single song on this album, without exception, satisfies.
Free Music Review: WHAT DO JIMMY HENDRIX, SARHA Mclachlan and more haveincommon Hit: 5 Stars
THEY, and so many more, are on this totaly wonderful soundtrack! This CD couldn't remind you more of the movie. Not only does this CD feathure the smash hit 'Iris' it also has Jimmy Hendrix, Paula Cole, U2, Alanis Morissette, Eric Clapton and more on it! It has some great jazz, alternative and old school on it! I can listen to this album over and over and still get a craving to listen to Paula Cole's: Feelin' Lovin' or the Goo Goo Dolls 'Iris'.This album is great!! -Grey
Free Music Review: Absolutely breath-taking sensual! Hit: 5 Stars
I bought the CD weeks before I saw the movie and the music is the most romantic I've ever heard. Romantic and mysterious, the music sends a message to america that imagination is the heart of true romance. "Uninvited" by Alanis Morresette is by far the best track on the album, in my opinion. Not necessarily for the romance within, but the intrigue and mystery in the lyrics. This and the other tracks make this CD this best soundtrack of the nineties! Gary Collins
