Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morisette, and Goo Goo Dolls, all with GREAT songs on one CD (that have been tape-able smashes on the radio)? It's a winner right there, and the other musicians just make it better! Must mean that the movie is actually worth watching, for the soundtrack alone (and I don't watch movies). It's not only perfect to get into the right mood to take that trip down to LA, but for ANY alternative (etc. etc.) fan...Free Music Review: Has it all

This CD has it all, from Jimi Hendrix's Red House to SArah McLachlan's Angel and everything in between. It's made up of a variety of different music styles which make the CD truck along at an exciting pace. The tunes tie into the movie perfectly, especially the cuts by Alanis Morrisstte, Paula COle and the Goo-Goo Dolls. From old '70s rock to the newest artists around, this Cd is definately one to add to your collection!Free Music Review: This CD is great!!!!!!

This is my all time favorite CD. My favorite song on here is Feelin'Love by Paula Cole. I know most of the words. I think everyone should lisen to this CD! It is great! I love it!!! My cousins have this CD. Iam trying to save up my allowance for it. I'm twelve years old! This is a great CD to play at a party or just to listen to when your bored. It's not often that movie soundtracks can stand apart from the movie itself but I feel that City Of Angels is one such album. It is sad and poignant and yet steers clear of any sickly sweet sentiment that it would be so easy to drop into (c'mon it was a Meg Ryan movie after all) Its worth buying alone for the double whammy of Sarah MacLachlen's 'Angels' and 'Iris' by the Goo-Goo Dolls. Mood music with bite.
