Free Music Review: This score gives me goosebumps each time I listen to it

I don't care for the vocals on this score, although they were effective in the movie. I bought this CD simply for the orchestrations, cuts #11,12,13,14.I had not heard these pieces away from the movie which distracts, so when I first played them at home, they gave me (and still do) major goosebumps. Very ethereal, very classy score. Why doesn't Gabriel Jared score more movies? He's quite a major talent!

This CD is a collection of the best movie-music since..well...I don't know. It captures the original mood each song was played in. The CD was done well. in the same manner, each song was suited to their performer and that really comes through. Alanis's haunting song, "Uninvited" and the song "Iris" by the Goo-Goo Dolls complement both the movie and the soundtrack. My one and only task is to close my eyes and flutter around into the always unknown world of music! "Angel" displays the most spectacular piano tunes which make us really feel as being carried in the arms of an angel. I got this CD even before I saw the movie. After I heard whowas on it, I rushed right out right after it was released. I love it! Especially "Iris", and "Angel", and "Uninvited" & the Jimi song. Personally, I find it to be one of the better soundtracks I own. I could listen to "Iris" on & on forever. This soundtrack has all of the essentials to make it a sure fire hot seller. From the hair raising exploits of Alanis (Thank God you put out something don't deprive us of your genius) to the simpliy eliquent love ballads from The Goo Goo Dolls (what a powerful first line) and the ever so talented Sara M. this soundtrack has something for every type of music fan. A five star choice at Amazon!
