We got this as a gift when our daughter was born and she absolutely LOVES this album. Susie Tallman has a lovely voice and she brings a lot of originality to this collection of nursery rhymes. We listen to it all the time and as a adult, I actually enjoy it. Some other review compained about that it was non-traditional, but that's exactly why we love it. The songs & rhymes are distinct and fun and my daughter (9 months)laughs at the silly voices. We bought several more of her albums and also really like Children's Songs and Lullaby Themes.Free Music Review: The best Children's CD EVER

I have a 5 month old and just received a copy of your Classical Nursery Rhymes and LOVE IT.
It's like listening to Beck meets Shrek.
It has comical little blurbs, with british men who sound like Mike Meyers being silly.
I'm instantly a HUGE fan of Susie Tallman, thanks to my Father-in-law who introduced me to this CD.
Thanks for making something that my husband and I can groove to as well and now, I'm actually learning all the words to these songs because I like them.

I purchased this CD after absolutely loving her Children's Songs CD. Her music is so much fun to sing, sway, and dance to. I own 4 of her CD's and enjoy them all for different reasons. They are arranged and performed beautifully. It was a delightful surprise to find music for our baby that my husband and I love too! Susie's music totally relaxes our son when he is upset. It is impossible to be in a bad mood when you turn it on! It will always be included in baby shower gifts from now on.

If I want to make my niece smile, all I need to do is play this CD for her. Between the quacking of the little ducks or the fun rendition of Hickory Dickory Dock, it's one belly laugh after another. There are a ton of songs we haven't even gotten to at the end of the disc because we're so busy replaying the first 5 or 6 songs! I wont babysit for her unless I have this CD on hand.
I definitely recommend this CD -- Susie Tallman and the other singers are really fun to listen to, even for the over 5 crowd!

This is SUCH a great CD. The way the songs are interpreted make learning to sing and singing along lots of fun for both the child (mine is 2) and for the parent. It's got all the traditional rhymes you know your child will learn at some stage and some are arranged in ways that are really funny in a laugh-out-loud way. My son loves it! And it's a real treat to listen to when, as a parent, you think you've heard everything there is to hear in kids music. Another great CD from Susie Tallman!!!
