Claudine had a brief, but active, recording career while she was married to Andy Williams in the 60's and early 70's. Then, it all came CRASHING DOWN, which not our subject here. She is now 65...where do the years go??
Claudine Longet was never one of the voices of the ages...few are. She was a thoroughly charming pop singer of the time. Her voice has a very winning "little girl" quality that I enjoyed way back when, and still do. A cute French accent never obscured quite good English. Some of the songs are, naturally, better known than others, and many are covers.
I suppose that Claudine is an acquired taste...if you like her, and I have for years, this album will provide a great trip down memory lane. Fine production, good representative sample of her work, excellent recorded sound. If you're a fan, you already have this. If not, great place to start.....Enjoy.
