Free Music Notes for A Thousand Different Ways

Free Music Review: so so
Hit: 3 Stars

Love the guy but the CD is only so so. Not sure why - lacking emotion maybe? Meah.

Free Music Review: Not impressed
Hit: 3 Stars

I am impressed with his voice and vocal range, in love with it in fact but not this CD. I only liked:
#2 Lonely No More
#7 A Thousand Days
#11 These Open Arms
#12 Here You Come Again
#13 Everything I Have
#14 Broken Wings

I felt the other songs were just too huge in their own rights to have anyone (other than the original singers) own them. No, not even Clay's amazing voice.

I also felt that Clay has this habit of holding on to the consonants rather than the vowels. It get iritating listening to that and what's worse was his vocalisation of the letter "d" in "days" in Richard Marx's Right Here Waiting for You. I like Clay but just not this CD.

Free Music Review: Clay can do better!
Hit: 3 Stars

I am a huge admirer of Aiken's talents, but I am NOT a Claymate by any means. It pains me to say this, but I have to ask, what was the point of this CD? Clay's talent is wasted on most of these tired re-treads. Yes, he gives a stunning vocal as usual, but as a fan I want to hear new material from Clay. He deserves to sing "his" songs, not someone else's. This CD wasn't a total loss as I did enjoy 'A 1000 Days' and 'Lonely No More'. I surprisingly did like Clay's take on Dolly's 'Here You Come Again'. It was new and fresh to me and I have heard the original since I was a kid.
For younger fans of Clay's who aren't familiar with these songs, I would recommend this to you. You'll at least get Clay's beautiful voice. For older fans, give it a pass.

Free Music Review: It's Okay
Hit: 3 Stars

Clay's best song on this cover is "Everything I Have." You can sense the emotion and the soul he puts into this song. The rest of the music on this cd, he trashes copied songs from the original artists. It's best to leave things alone, especially when it comes to music. If it ain't broken then don't fix it is my motto.

Free Music Review: very disappointed!
Hit: 2 Stars

I am a HUGE Clay Aiken fan, but I am very sad to say this album is a flop! I was very disappointed with it. It does not compare to his first album or his Christmas albums. It's a medley of other artist's songs done in such a sappy way, i could no longer listen to it. This album stinks in A Thousand Different Ways.
