Free Music Notes for On My Way HereFree Music Review: His Best Work So Far! Hit: 5 Stars
"On My Way Here" shows growth and maturity of this artist since his "Measure of a Man". The title track shows off his vocal showcase as the lyrics detail one's journey--the emotions and experiences that shape us into the people that we are. Every track emotes an emotion whether it be that of surviving out of "Ashes" or questioning love all part of a young person growing up. The main attraction is undeniably his superb voice, with the support of great songwriting, and talented band and production crew to create this outstanding album. It's eclectic, it's passionate, it's intimate ("The Real Me", it's unquestionably marks his best work thus far. BRAVO, Mr. Aiken!
Free Music Review: Clay's best album to date Hit: 5 Stars
Without a doubt "On My Way Here" is Clay's best album to date. It is eclectic and shows how diverse Clay truly is. Like the albums before it, On My Way Here showcases Clay's beautiful voice, but it goes a step further and showcases his amazing versatility by singing some string orchestrated ballads, a little funk, pop-rock and some jazz influenced pieces. It is a wonderful collection, and I urge anyone who likes great vocals supported by awesome production to try this album, you won't be disappointed.
My Favorites: "On My Way Here", "Everything I Don't Need", "Ashes", "The Real Me", "Weight of the World" and Clay Aiken penned "Lover All Alone"
Free Music Review: Clay's Masterpiece! Hit: 5 Stars
"On My Way Here" is simply brilliant. Clay took a theme of his personal journey to today, and chose a group of fabulous eclectic songs for this beautiful album. Several nearly drove me to tears with his breathtakingly beautiful voice. "Something About Us" would be the perfect theme song for some romantic movie - and dare I say could replace Whitney's "I Will Always Love You" as the most beautiful love song EVER! You have to listen to this in a quiet room, by yourself, with earphones, to hear every gorgeous nuance of Clay's voice. This is his best effort yet, and is like a great bottle of wine. Smooth, silky, sexy and oh so special!
Free Music Review: He's Gotten It Just Right This Time. Hit: 5 Stars
After hearing the preview of the first single, On My Way Here, I was impressed and highly anticipating the rest of this album and I was not disappointed. This album feels more like him than the rest of them (especially his first one) and especially the song, The Real Me, is beautiful. The one thing I've always loved about Clay is that he can take any song that he's given and somehow tweak it to make it feel just a little bit like himself so it has that personal touch. But with this album, it finally felt like he didn't have to. He finally was able to make something that felt like it fit him just right and it flowed beautifully.
Free Music Review: worth the wait Hit: 5 Stars
This CD is amazing. His voice is better than ever. I think he changed things up and some of the songs were different than he has done before. Every song for me was unique and offered something different than the song before. I found it to be inspirational, beautiful, entertaining. Each time I listen I hear something more than the last time. I actually like every song on the CD. The ones I especially love On My Way Here, Ashes, Something about us,Everything I Don't need, Falling, Where I draw the line, Lover all Alone. Honestly I love them all.
I bought for myself and as a gift and I would highly recommend it.
