Free Music Review: IT DON'T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THIS

My...My....how does he top this one? Clay is what we have been waiting for. True God Given Talent. A real voice without all the gimmicks. He can sing without any music and be just as effective with his great vocal ability. This is TALENT. Have purchased 9 copies of THE WAY/SOLITAIRE single, and because they are so limited and hard to find, I will put one unwrapped away for this single is going to become one of the Greatest Singles of all time for Mr. Aiken. Will keep a backup for when this one wears out, and the other copies I have given with great Pride to family and friends who cannot find a copy in the stores and want to share in this great gift Clay has given us. I am so proud of this achievement and success for Clay because of who he is and how he got here. Was just ment to happen for him and the world.
We have tickets to see him in concert this week with Kelly Clarkson. So looking forward to seeing and hearing him LIVE. This will again be an unforgetable experience to see and hear him sing Solitaire and The Way and much more, and to experience it with so many of his fans at one time, I am sure will be so unforgetable.
THANKS CLAY for sharing all your talent, and life with your fans. Know your Mom has to be so proud of you. This Mom/Grandma in Phoenix sure is happy for you. YOU GO GUY!

Free Music Review: Worth the Wait

There are some songs that transcend time, genre, and artist to become a classic. Solitaire is one of those songs, and even without the addition of Clay Aiken's latest hit song, The Way, included, the purchase of this single would be warranted.In an era of over-produced and under-talented records, Clay has managed to rise above the criticisms heaped upon him as only the bi-product of the nation's reality television craze. Currently he's selling out arenas, co-headlining with Kelly Clarkson, and he's become a household name. Solitaire is the ultimate explanation of this phenomena.
When Clay "debuted" Solitaire on American Idol 2, he earned the glowing praise of Solitaire penman, Neil Sedaka. Sedaka, who delcared that he had forever lost his song to Clay, was right. From Solitaire's opening low notes to the soaring glory note 4 minutes into the song, you can see why Clay Aiken has what will become the voice of a generation. Able to transform a song that most Americans under the age of 35 had never heard of before American Idol, into something that will surely become a signature piece, is certainly no easy feat. Yet, Aiken does it with a style and grace that seems too-often lacking from today's musical panorama. And the fact that he included it for his fans makes the lingering notes all that more sweet.
Free Music Review: Unbelieveable performance by Clay

After inserting the CD into my player, I immediately went to the B side of the disk. I have Clay's MOAM, so I knew what a great song The Way was already. I was just so excited about hearing Clay's Solitaire for the first time. I loved his rendition on American Idol and couldn't wait to get this CD. When the song first started, I thought, "Oh, no. I'm not gonna like this."
I thought it was going to be a slow, cheesy rendition and nothing like his performance on Idol. Well, let me say that my preconceived notions were TOTALLY wrong! By the end of the song, I was in tears I was so moved by Clay's singing! This rendition is the most beautiful rendition I have ever heard!
Clay's voice is flawless. His versatility is amazing! He hits the high notes as well as the low notes just perfectly. The acoustics were good also.
I had to listen to the song over and over again and again!! I highly recommend your buying this CD. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
How refreshing it is to listen to a song that you can actually understand the lyrics. What is even greater is the passion that you can feel Clay putting into this song.
I am so thankful there is an artist out there now that I can appreciate listening to. Go out and buy this CD. You will love it!
Free Music Review: SPELLBINDING

After months of anticipation, it is FINALLY here! I got my CD yesterday, and have played it over and over...I can't get enough of it! it's incredible!! Here is a breakdown of the tracks:The Way: I already own MOAM, and the Way is one of my favorite songs on the album (although I love the whole thing). It's a great love song, and you really feel the sincere emotion in Clay's voice. However, if I have to nitpick a little, the song focuses more on Clay's tenor register, and doesn't show his baritone register at all. It's more of a "safe" showcase of his voice. Nevertheless, it's still wonderful.
Solitaire: WOW......I mean.......WOW!!! Absolutely perfect!! On the first listen, I knew Clay was destined to sing this. It's one of the most depressing songs ever written (not a bad thing by any means!), and Clay absolutely owns it and makes you feel every single lyric. His phenomenal range is showcased brilliantly, the arrangement is awesome, and the production is perfect, putting Clay's voice up front and not drowning him out with the background music. PLUS, he hits a mammoth money note toward the end that made me gasp and brought tears to my eyes! This is 100% pure Clay!
If you don't have this CD, BUY IT! It is worth every penny!!
Free Music Review: The BEST! of Clay

If you have Clay's album, you already know whether you like 'The Way'. Clay likes it. Certainly so do I. What made me WANT this single CD so badly was 'Solitaire'.
I have always loved this song. It was my all-time favorite Elvis song, long before many of Clay's biggest fans were born. When Clay sang this song on American Idol, I thought it was his absolute best performance. I so hoped it would appear on his first CD.
His rendition of 'Solitaire' on this single far surpasses all the cuts on 'Measure of A Man'.
The song provides a showcase for Clay's tremendous voice range. And, it just gets better and better as the song goes on. The ending is almost more than a fan's heart can stand. This is a song that was 'made' for Clay, even if it was written before his time. It is perfect in every way for his personal vocal style.
If you didn't see Clay sing this on American Idol, or if you are not a Clay fan yet (first, shame on you), you need to listen to 'Solitaire' If you appreciate talent, You will be won over, without question!
If you ARE a Clay fan...you HAVE to OWN this CD! You know you WANT it! You know you MUST hear it! And you absolutely NEED to have it so you can listen over and over and over! I promise you WILL!
