Free Music Notes for Internal WranglerFree Music Review: Safe edgy partying Hit: 3 StarsClinic are one of those bands that makes artsy British pop which neither captivates nor repulses. Worth checking out for the deconstructed multi-genre fun surely shared at many an indie hipster gathering, but not necessarily an album requiring excessive devotion.
Free Music Review: Excellent Hit: 5 StarsA very good cd. If you like Radiohead's Kid A, minmalist post punk alternative or even the more recent rock/pop indie scene, I would recommend this album. I especially like the Velvet Underground cover: distortions!
Free Music Review: DISTORTIONS Hit: 5 StarsI cannot articulate what Internal Wrangler does to me,but I would love nothing more than to introduce Clinic to anyone who doesn't know what they're missing."Distortions" gives me shivers everyday.Beautiful...
Free Music Review: Essential contemporary release...but not innovative Hit: 4 StarsThe band is not nearly as innovative as everyone thinks. Pick up a couple lps/cds by late 70s band SUICIDE and you will learn what I mean. That being said, they put a refreshing and slightly fuller sound on the lo-fi electronics grunge that Suicide had. There are miraculous songs on here...the title track is a thumping bubblegum, electro garage wonder. Not everything here though maintains the pulsating level that tracks like "2nd foot stomp" or "2/4" do ( the tepid songs being a harbinger of the upcoming WALKING WITH THEE...which is a slight backstep for them...from which they recovered on the latest cd), but its still a great release
Free Music Review: Great Album Hit: 5 StarsDistortions is such an amazing song. Actually, most of the songs on this album are. You should buy it
