I guess music videos are good for something because if I hadn't been channel surfing late at night I wouldn't have seen the Welcome Home video on MTV2. There was something about Claudio Sanchez' voice and the musicianship on the song that made me look them up on the internet and eventually buy the Good Apollo cd. I don't like rock stars, I like rock musicians. And that's what these guys share with my all time favorite band, Rush. On The Willing Well III they go from Rush to Yes. It sounds great!!! I love the musicianship and lyrics. Claudio's voice is a work in progress, but so was Geddy's. If you're tired of the same drab metal and want to listen to something different...THIS IS THE BAND!!!

A first it was a bit hard for me to get used to this band because everything about it was so unexpected, so rich in texture and yet so different that you can't quite pigeonhole it; but after a while it grows in you, especially when you start digging up the stories that are nested like jewels in each song. I'm a big rock fan and this band has meant a new dawn in rock music, a new landmark to remind us that the Gods of Rock aren't wholly dead...get all the albums (not only this one above), you don't want to miss on any of what these guys create, the stories they come up with..it's music like nothing I've heard for a long long time..Free Music Review: Welcome Home rocks the world

It took me a while to get into Coca, but after a few listens it became one of my favorite bands ever. I have since bought all of the previous albums, but Burning Star IV continues to be my favorite. It has some awesome songs like 'The Suffering', but "Welcome Home", I am convinced, is the greatest song ever written. I also love that Coheed has a story behind it. I've never been able to get my hands on the books, but from what I've heard it follows along with the music. That's a really neat idea because it brings the music to another level. Anyway, if you like heavy music with interesting sounds and lyrics definitely give CoCa a listen.Free Music Review: Amazing
