Free Music Notes for In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3Free Music Review: Ah man this is Claudioriffic Hit: 5 Stars
Coheed and Cambria are just a great band and so yea. This cd rocks so much. The concept of the band is brilliant (Claudio is such a genius) This is just some unbelievable music. I wont waste my time blabbering about how Coheed are the best band ever (with the exception of Nirvana and the Smashing Pumpkins) because you know the music speaks for itself.

Free Music Review: Loved it Hit: 5 Stars
I cam across this cd by accident. I am only 24 so I'm really not familiar with rush, but if Coheed is like them I will look into it. But yeah, I was talking to a friend about Linkin Park of all unrlated things, and a few other random bands, and he's all like you should hear these guys, and I immediately fell in love. The music is so well written, with such catchy hooks, the vocals are awesome. I don't have yet but really need their other two albums and am greatly anticipating the next two. And after fallign in love with the music I looked them up on wikipedia, and to my surprise found the coolest info ever, The Cd's are merely a back up for a graphic novel that Claudio has been writing, some bits and peices have been previously published nothing isd in print currently Claudio want to get it all published cronolocically and wants it done right. It is a very interesting Sci-Fi story, that i greatly anticipate reading. so In short this is what you get when Some SCi-Fi Anime nerds know how to play instruments.
Free Music Review: A rock odyssey ... Hit: 5 Stars
From the moment you put this disc in, to the moment you take it out (which will only be after it melts in your player), you will be lost. Lost in amazing musical talent, astonishing creativity, and sheer contemplation regarding what on earth Coheed and Cambria could possibly be attempting with In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3. To hear these guys only for A Favor House Atlantic and lead singer Claudio Sanchez's mystifyingly high voice is simply a gateway into the fact that Coheed and Cambria is a rare creative gem, using their music to tell a grand story or fantasy, murder, and universal domination (yes, you read that correctly). If you love getting lost in music (an easy thing to do with IKSSE3, seeing as how some of the songs top out at nearly 10 minutes long), this is the band for you. If you love to groove and sing along, this is a disc for you. If you love to read into every detail, this is a story you must hear. Coheed and Cambria ... the new rock odyssey.
Free Music Review: Savior of Rock Hit: 5 Stars
I first heard C and C on satelite radio on a fishing trip to Canada (i started writing down names of bands i thought were interesting, this was the only one i actually sought out, boy was i lucky), i was intrigued and bought the cd when i got back... I was nervous cause I hate buying music when i've only heard one song.. I was sure i'd hate this cd... it was the best 15 bucks i'd ever spent... A warning, this cd can get depressing due to the violence, so stay away if your the 'faint of heart'. Every song off this cd is gold, no doubt. 'The light and the glass' is a perfect ending as it starts out slow and then builds the tension just to bring you to a phonic orgasm at the end. The Crowing, oh my, what to say other than... bands like Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Sum 41 might as well contract herpes and stop playing music cuz whats the point when you've been overshadowed by talent such as this.
Free Music Review: keeping the secrets Hit: 5 Stars
Coheed & Cambria, made a giant leap from their first LP. One big difference is Claudio's vocals. They have grown deeper on this album (quite a blessing) and the songs are filled with wonderful guitar ballads (In Keeping the Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, Cuts Marked In the March of Men, The Crowing). Between the awesome guitar playing, the lyrics are definitly something to pay attention to (for ex. "I'll do anything for you...I'll cut the throats of babies...), yeah these songs can be violent and beautiful at the same time. The Light & The Glass, is also another beautiful song (which includes the line "Good Apollo, I'll be Burning Star IV", referencing the title of their next album). If you have never heard of this band, well try this cd. You will be hooked. Fans of the first cd, well you probably already have this.
