Coheed and Cambria is greatest band of all time. They pour out endless emotions and bizarre lyrics. The guitar breakdowns are amazing and the vocals are beautiful. To add icing to the cake they even based the band on a story written by the singer, Claudio Sanchez. It's a dark sci-fi story starting with the two lead characters, Coheed and Cambria. Each song tells a part of this epic story. In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth:3 takes place after the events that occured in The Second Stage Turbine Blade, but interpreting the story is extremely hard. Thats why Claudio is releasing graphic novels/comics to easier explain the story. well anyways, Coheed and Cambria is an amazing band, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth:3 is a must buy. I recomend you buy it after The Second Stage Turbine Blade.

Free Music Review: Finally something I can sink my teeth into...

I find it hard to believe that any person with some knowledge of musicianship could speak poorly of this band. Growing up in the 80's and 90's, I've heard so much garbage the last few years. Few groups have touched on elements of music over varies generations. If one would take the time to listen to most of the tracks, he or she would certainly agree that most of the songs are very captivating, unique and interesting. But most of all, the one word that describes their music best is quality, something lacking in most popular music these days.
People speak negative of his voice, yet if they could get over their personal prejudices and expections of what they WANT to hear in someone's singing then they just might learn a thing or two, and who know's, maybe they just might enjoy it too.

This CD is the best CD I own...coheed is my favorite band for more then one reason. Claudio has insane vocal ability and shreds guitar like no other, you would be really surprised how he can sing and play like that at the same time. Travis (lead guitar) is amazing with great solo-esque type riffs and fills. Mic (bass) is amazing and can do pretty much everything on his bass (he even licks it in the favor house video :P) And Josh goes insane on drums...this band is seriously one of the best bands in the last decade, and im sure everyone agrees. Their creativity is unmatched and the depths of their songs are too deep to understand. The whole CD is a story (Part II of V) which is sooooo insane and engrossing. I can't recommend one song because they are all so great. Coheed dominates life!!!!Free Music Review: good stuff

any1 who doesnt like this album is insane...it grows on you though...i didnt like Taking Back Sunday much when i first heard them but after listening to the cd a couple of times i realized how great it was and this is exactly the same with Coheed and Cambria. People complain about his voice but it is unique and different than anything out there. Too many bands out there sound like Thursday, Brand New, The Starting Line, etc. Although the songs are very long (average about 6 mins), they are all awesome and have great melody changes. And for people who complain about the lyrics, the lyrics are actually telling a story that the band is writing in a science fiction novel lol... its a little strange but that explains the lyrics. Okay, for starters, Coheed rules. Their musicianship is beyond belief, along with their technicality and creativity. I get ridiculed daily for liking them cause Claudio Sanchez sings higher than a vienna choir boy, but who cares. When you're good, you're good, and Coheed is good.
In Keeping Secrets feels like a more mature version of The Second Stage Turbine Blade, musically genius, but this time with better thought out song progression and what not. My words can't do this album justice so I'm gonna stop. But do yourself a favor, if you appreciate music that is simply played for the love of music (not so record companies can make millions off screaming 12 year old girls....these guys aren't very attractive), go buy this album, you shan't be dissapointed.
