Free Music Review: Very Good, But Mabye Not Up to Par

Let me first say that I absolutely LOVE this band; Turbine Blade was incredible, and IKSSE:3 and Good Apollo Vol. 1 are two of my all-time favorite albums, both of which I listen to on a regular basis to this day. I had trouble going to sleep I was so excited for No World For Tomorrow to get to stores.
I'm still trying to get myself to fall in love with it, but it's not happening.
By all means, this is still an excellent album, but from these guys I expected a little more. It seems a little undercooked - a bunch of good songs, but without the emotion that fueled their previous releases. Could have something to do with their drummer quitting and the bassist issue that was going on, but it just doesn't seem the same. A worthy edition to any music collection, but I definitely hope the next album from them marks a return to true co & ca form.

excellent disc, you can notice right away that claudio's voice change a little bit (for good, a little bit produced), the new band members give to Co&Ca a new and fresh approach to the music, this is not a prog rock disc like Apollo 1, the first time I hear it was kind of disappointed for then it was like - in your face - I can't stop listening to this, it is so addictive .

A gave 4 stars because of the CD box, If you want a jewel box, buy the special edition and you get a plus, the DVD. hope this review help

This album is really good, but I have to say, I really don't think it is better than or as good as Good Apollo (vol.1 for nit-pickers). As someone else mentioned in another review, the album just seems like it was a little rushed, a bit under-produced compared to their last album. It is still a good album, and Im sure anyone who liked Good Apollo would also like this album.
On a different note, nearly everyone I have seen/heard pick their favorite songs off this album have said "Mother Superior".... I personally think this is one of the worst tracks on the album. I would much rather listen to "Gravemakers and Gunslingers" or "No World for Tomorrow." Maybe I'm just wrong and everyone else is right, but personally I think "Mother Superior" is a highly overrated track. You can judge for yourselves though, Im sure. :)
Free Music Review: Great, but why no case?

I thought this was their best album yet. No problem there. I was only bothered by the fact it came in an envelope instead of a case w/ a jacket, like their other albums. I guess if you buy the deluxe edition, you get a case w/ jacket. When I buy a CD I would like a real case. Otherwise I could download the thing for a lesser price. And still have the music. The only reason people still buy CD's is because of generation gap or to actually have something in their hand, instead of some compressed data on a computer. I figure I have no point, and many people won't care what it's stored in. Either way you know now.Free Music Review: Packaging

This may be of little consequence to some people, but the cheaper version of this disc comes with no jewel case, no extra artwork, and no lyrics. For the cost of this cheaper version, you get the disc in a cardstock sleeve--nothing else. If you want more, consider the "deluxe" version instead: No World for Tomorrow (Deluxe).
