Free Music Review: Music excellent as usual, just one niggling thing...

Coldplay makes for a brilliant live band, with no fuss and no unecessary flash. They might be a bit dull compared to others but they offer what many dont, the pure uncommercialised soul of what music should be.Now we get to the dvd (which is frankly, probably more than half of what you pay for). I had to experiment with about 7 dvd players (wouldnt work with ever-so-efficient microsoft windows media player.. something to do with copyright protection apparently *rolls*eyes*) before i could get it to play. i'm just wondering whether it's to do with different region codes (region 1 on my computer). anyone else have this problem?
nonetheless, very much worth the money for anyone who apprecites coldplay.

If you like Coldplay, this DVD/CD is completely worth your money. Buying a CD nowadays is around say, $15? Well imagine getting a live CD AND a 17 track live DVD for less than double that. The DVD is really good; as you should know, Coldplay is amazing when it comes to live performances. The CD is basically the DVD without the visuals, but it is missing a few songs; (nothing to get worried about). Just trust me, this is an awesome deal. They have great transitions, the sound is rich, and the visuals make you feel like you were there. Its an awesome set and any Coldplay fan should really get it. Also, there is a nice set of pictures from the concert in the booklet you might like. Again, GET IT.Free Music Review: Pure excellency

Taking into consideration the fact that ColdPlay is one of the greatest bands out there, they are even better live. They bring that energetic, mellow feel back to music that makes it enjoyable to hear. Live 2003 just shows you how enthusiasitc everyone else is about their music, along with the band's enthusisasm towards their fans. The Yawner review is wrong, U2 is irish, ColdPlay is british, and if they were copying them, they do a real good job. Its the same as the CD because their songs are the same on the CD, nothings boring about them.....if you want to hear them differently, play the songs yourself.....cranky reviewer is wrong too.....Cold Play rules....everyone else now adays doesn't compare.Free Music Review: coldplay put a smile upon my face

IT'S BLOODY />I'M SPEECHLESS, I BOUGHT IT LAST NIGHT, AND I FINISHED WATCHING THE DVD, IT'S WOW SO AWSOME!!! SO COOL!!! THEY ARE A GREAT BAND(we all knew that) LIVE AND ON THE STUDIO EVERYWHERE!!!!, IT'S THE BEST CONCERT I'VE SEENG ON DVD!!!!! THE TOUR DIARY WAS JUST SO COOL, ONCE AGAIN THEY HAVE PROVEN THAT THEY ARE THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!! I'VE HEARD THAT SOME CRITICS SAY THAT THEY ARE THE BEATLES OF THE 21st CENTURY, AND I AGREE WITH THOSE CRITICS, THEY ARE DA BOMB!!!!!! AMAZING JOB COLDPLAY!!! KEEP THE GOOD WORK!!! This is one of the better Live DVD's I've seen and owned. I was fortunate enough to have caught Coldplay during this tour, and the DVD captures quite a bit of the talent, vibe, and emotion of the 2003 tour. Those who complain that the songs are essentially the same as what's on the albums are missing the point. Coldplay is a band made up of talented individual artists, and their proficiency at making and performing music is clearly demonstrated on the DVD and CD. Definitely worth getting for any fan of Coldplay, or any fan of good rock n' roll.
