Free Music Notes for Prospekt's MarchFree Music Review: Coldplay's delivers another masterpiece! Hit: 5 Stars
What a treat to recieve yet another cd from Coldplay. I love Viva La Vida, but to know that "Life in Technicolor" has words was a pleasant surprise. What a beautiful song. I highly recommend it to all Coldplay fans. They are in a league all their own. Their musicality and lyrics rival even U2 (which I love as well). The only song on the cd you will either love or hate is "lost" featuring Jay-z. I understand Coldplay wanting to take a risk and broaden their horizons to incorporate some hip-hop. The song is okay, but I still like the original one better.
Free Music Review: A great companion to Viva La Vida! Hit: 5 Stars
I enjoy listening to Viva La Vida, so I had to have the Prospekt's March EP.
Most of the songs here didn't make it onto Viva La Vida. The Osaka Sun Remix of "Lovers in Japan" doesn't sound noticeably different than the original, except for the end of the song. "Lost+" is basically "Lost!" with Jay-Z rapping over the bridge. (It's my least favorite song on the EP). "Life in Technicolor ii" is a longer version of "Life in Technicolor" (the opening track on Viva La Vida) with lyrics.
If you enjoyed Viva La Vida, you'll enjoy this!
Free Music Review: An Easy Call..... Hit: 5 Stars
If you're a fan of Viva la Vida, this is a no-brainer. I liked "Life in Technicolor" on the original album, and having the vocal version on this album knocks it out of the park! For that song alone, this album is worth the purchase.
Free Music Review: Nice addition! Hit: 5 Stars
Great addition to the Viva La Vida. Some of the songs sound more like the old Coldplay tunes. The Jay-Z cut of "Lost" is great too - I like that any artist can mix with the ever changing beats of Coldplay songs.
Free Music Review: Better than Viva La Vida! Hit: 5 Stars
DISCLAIMER: I'm a big fan of Coldplay, and I really like Viva La Vida. However, they seem to have saved the best and most interesting songs for Prospekt's March! Highly recommended - better than Viva La Vida!
