Free Music Notes for Prospekt's MarchFree Music Review: Prospekt's March Hit: 2 Stars
Thought I was ordering a regular CD. It came in a cardboard cover with only a few songs on it. I returned it a few weeks ago and have had no e-mail or correspondence about my return status.
Free Music Review: Don't know what to make of this Hit: 1 Stars
This band completely lost focus since X&Y. All in all I feel that these songs would have worked fine as B-sides, and that they should be treated as such.
Life In Technicolor II: Part 1 IMO is better, all the freshness of part 1 is lost due to the horrible singing. It sounds patched and it doesn't flow well. The song tries hard to build up but never gets there.
Postcards From Far Away: This is OK for ENYA. Not much to say here
Glass Of Water; This is Viva la Vida (song) meets X&Y. It sounds weird, but after a few listens you get accustomed to it. I would say this is the highlight of this EP, but B-side material at most.
Rainy Day: Coldplay going techno. I really don't get this number. This is new in Coldplay's repertoir, and if this is the new direction Coldplay is about to make, well.....
Prospekt's March/Poppyfields; On first listen this sounded awfully familiar. Correct me if I'm wrong but ain't this melody taken from a song by Collective Soul?.
Lost+; Unlistenable. Same track as in Viva la Vida but with a bridge sung by rapper Jay Z. This type of song should never appear on a Coldplay CD, these are fine for radio or promo's but that's it.
Lovers In Japan (Osaka Sun Mix); Where's the change. The only differences I noticed were: 1- Reign of Love was cut off 2- Guitar seems to be louder in the chorus, besides that nothing new.
Now My Feet and Won't Touch The Ground: Is this "til kigndom come" alternate version?. This one is for those who loved til kingdom come, for those who didn't......deja vu, til kingdom with new lyrics.
This EP don't even come closer to Parachutes, AROBTH, and even X&Y's b-sides, this is very low quality material to Coldplay's standards.
Lyrics are not even worth mentioning.
Free Music Review: Waited too long Hit: 1 Stars
I waited over a month to receive this CD. When I received it, it was broken in half. I am not happy with this item.
