This is overall a great compilation. The 2 new songs "Energy" and "Next Homecoming" are great hard rock songs! This is the CD to be released before the recent departure of lead guitarist Ross Childress. I am a bit disappointed in the choice of songs on this CD. "Forgiveness" should have been replaced by an actual hit of theirs "Where The River Flows". But overall, the CD has a good flow, and will be in my CD changer for a while.Free Music Review: Collective Soul Rocks!!

The CD is great, no doubt. But I recommend that listeners buy all the albums that Collective Soul has put out. It is really hard to compile a greatest hits album from a band that has so many good songs. The self-titled album, "Hints Allegations...", and "Dosage" are all truly great albums. If you are new listener of their music, I highly recommend that you start with these albums to get the true Collective Soul experience.Free Music Review: Awesome Hits

I am a die-hard Collective Soul fan. I have followed them since their first album and "Shine." This is an excellent greatest hits CD and a great start for someone just discovering them or someone wanting a sample of their music. "Energy" is a great song, too, that can't be found on the other albums.
There are only about 2 or 3 Collective Soul songs that I don't care for much, so the other CDs are still great even in addition to this one.

i have been a collective soul fan since the first notes of shine in '94. here is a compilation of their best work over the years. people always ask me, "collective soul is still around?" THEY NEVER WENT AWAY!!! in fact they have added 2 new tracks that absolutely rock and some of the most delicious melodic hooks you will ever hear. anybody looking for some feel-good, straight-forward ROCK has to pick this up.Free Music Review: good mix

i accidently bought this cd. it was one of those selection of the month things from columbia house that automatically ships it. however, instead of saying "return to sender" i paid the 15 bucks. it's really a good solid effort. i own all the other albums, but there's too many songs to listen to at once. this album allows me to just listen to the good songs, and the 2 new ones are good as well.
