All other music move aside please because Collide has entered my life...and this album did it to me! One listen, one song instantly took me. The very moment you hear kaRIN's voice...you'll love it! It's what I've personally been waiting for along time now. However, you can't listen to Collide without noticing stATIK's masterful composing. I used to think Micheal Cretu of Enigma was the master, but that quickly changed the moment I heard stATIK's work!! This man is very talented with a keen ear for fine music. He's composed a masterpiece with this CD! (many others too) He certainly knows how to bring kaRIN's voice out.
"Transfer" kicks it all off with outstanding, sensual, and erotic vocals. This song is an opening statement that will quickly get your attention. If you're not hypnotized by the vocals and music of it...then the volume is to low. Turn it up.
"Wings Of Steel" The most notorious song of all -- follows with an hypnotic melody that just won't let you go. You'll definitely love this song! Awesome tune with a very sensuous beat and vocals. This Legendary song is what Collide is made of.
"Razor Sharp" has a very nice melody, and again kaRIN's voice just grabs you.
"Dreamsleep" kicks off with a very beautiful beat, and kaRIN quickly takes over with her sensuous voice. This song reminds me of a lounge in which a Hollywood glamorous sexy lady walks into a room full of people. She instantly gets everyone attention with her sex appeal, and voice. Can't leave out the melody though, and again...stATIK did the job. His musical talent really puts this song together.
"White Rabbit" displays the Industrial sound of Collide. Great melody and vocals. If you're looking for a different sound, this song definitely has it to offer.
"Frozen" is a relaxing song that takes you away from this world. A journey of peace, and calmness should be expected . This song really emphasizes kaRIN and stATIK.
"Halo" is full of excitement that punches the sub woofers. It'll get your attention.
"Monochrome" speaks volume of Collide's talent to take you away from this world. Get ready - set - Go!
"Ocean" is a very sensuous song. Plain and simple!! It has oustanding sounds you've never heard before. Only kaRIN and stATIK could pull a song like this song off. I can not picture anyone else doing it!
"Like You Want To Believe" ends this awesome album. This song is the trademark of kaRIN's voice. Again...I'm taken away to the sexy woman singing in a luxurious lounge. Just can't get it out of my mind huh? If I were sitting there, and kaRIN comes in singing this song - I'm instantly captivated!! My eyes won't blink. Just listen to it if you don't believe me! You'll hear what I hear...and that's a very sensuous and ultra erotic voice with a sexy melody.
Now that you've had a chance to listen briefly to this CD, go ahead and buy it. It's well worth it. It's just a unique CD you'll never get tired of listening to. Why? Because true artist's know how to make it sound good every time you listen to it. I know because I own it! The vocals; the music is like...well...sorta like cookies and milk. Inseparable!!
