High-energy lo-fi garage rock - I love it! In terms of raw energy and power this brings to mind the great bands of the 70s/80s Aussie garage-punk scene, bands that in turn had drawn on influences like the Stooges, MC5, and Nuggets bands such as The Sonics - bands such as The Lime Spiders Nine Miles High 1983-1990, Stoneage Romeos-era Hoodoo Gurus Stoneage Romeos, Radio Birdman The Essential Radio Birdman (1974-1978), The Saints (I'm) Stranded, and The New Christs Distemper.
This release is all energy, rock attitude and classic riffs, not yet embroidered with the psychedelic trimmings of later COF offerings. There's not a bad track on it - highly recommended.
