Free Music Review: Common the Preacher

Common is the preacher of hip hop. He is a great rapper. My favorite songs are "The Corner" and "Testify". The Corner because the beat is amazing. I love the story in "Testify", about a wife who's husband is charged for murder. Then in the end, you find out that the wife commited the crime and framed her husband. This is only 4 stars because after the first 7 or 8 songs, I dont listen to the rest because it is boring.
If you like Rockafella or Kanye West's music, I reccomend "Be" to you.

I am glad Common released a new album because I was gettting tired of hearing all these commercial rappers and crunk rappers it gets old after awhile. This album is a breathe of fresh air and should be a classic in most peoples eyes but i see some hater on here but i do not mind cause they cant take credit from Common and I love that they do hate cause it makes me like the album even more. I recommend this album to every rap fan. Common is back and better then ever and I am loving this album even more when I listen to it each time because I hear something new that I did not catch when I listened to it before. This is way better then his last release which was a experimental album and should not be against Common. This album is the most reflective of HIPHOP music I've heard in years. I would call it refreshing. It's actually a beautiful album in that it's not that demanding or complicating a topical level but as you listen to it more and more you get something more and deeper, I would say it appreciates, which is what real hiphop and real lyricists and real music does. It's like Reference Music. As you grow and experience and your perception changes you look at the same things and see(hear) them differently(true timeless art that is) and this album is definitely timeless. If your wondering about the past,present or future of hiphop then check this album out. With so many carbon copy mc's and beats out now we should support the few real artists out now and this doesn't mean only "so-called" conscious mc's or groups but anyone talking about reality and giving us our moneysworth with their insight and craftsmanship. he opened the year with his hit the corner with common i liked the hit it had a nice better and by having kayne on the track made be even liked it more then his second song was even better it was go go go go and on the count of three everybody run back to your fantasy that was a creative hit from common and da n of da song when it changed to his next hit be like common asked what if God was a her i never thought of that believe they not call him common for nothing his next song was Be which was kind of short but still very good that was another favorite song of mine then his latest hit was testify a song that was as good as all his songs he made this year the beat was unique while he was rapping it was like he was telling a story at the same time something like what r kelly did in his amazing hit in the closet i would place common at number for best 3 rapper of the year if kayne didn't make that remarkable hit gold digger common would have been number 2 but he is still in the top five list so that is still consider one of the best
