Free Music Notes for Finding ForeverFree Music Review: More than just a "conscious emcee" Hit: 5 Stars
Common is more than just a conscious emcee rapping over abstract beats. His highly anticipated, seventh album is a glorious tribute to the legendary hi-hop producer, J Dilla, who passed away in 2006 of complications related to Lupus. Finding Forever describes Common's desire to leave a legacy through his creative contributions to the world. Highly recommended an would also recommend Devin the Dude's latest release, Smoke Sessions Vol. 1 his first release since leaving Rapalot and his only release to ever hit the Billboard charts.
Free Music Review: Playing Forever Hit: 5 Stars
When I bought this album, I played so much within a 24-hour period that I scratched it and of course, I have to but it again. If you are Common fan you will like this album, if you are a hip-hop fan you will like this album. The two tracks that were released for this album ("The People" and "The Game") were good but my favorite tracks were "U, Black Maybe" and "Misunderstood". Common remains one of the most underrated artist in hip-hop, "Finding Forever" is another great album from an un-Common artist.
Free Music Review: Common has found FOREVER Hit: 5 Stars
This album is one of his best yet!!!! Common and Kanye West make a grate team together they are unstoppable, unbreakable and unmatchable. No one gets close to the sound they put out when these to magnificent artist get together. I love all the tracks on the album....the lyrics are very positive and motivating....Common's lyrics make you think of the relevant issues of today, he champions Peace, Love, and Respect....This man is a true artist and this album is proof of exactly that...enough said.
Free Music Review: Good to the last track Hit: 5 Stars
I was throughly pleased with my choice to purchase this item. From the first track to the last I was grooving. Common has not lost a step in my eyes and Kanye's production was full of life once again. In my eyes Common is one of the great lyricists in hip-hop at this time. His lyrics are full of content and his rhymes on Finding Forever are clever, funny, passionate, and dynamic. A seamless follow-up to "Be" and a necessary addition to the library of any hip-hop enthusiast.
Free Music Review: Forever found. Hit: 5 Stars
Man, this is album is easily the best hiphop release of 2007. That's not hard to be but still. THis is an album I can just put in, and let it ride. My wife loves it too and she aint really a hiphop head like that. Standout tracks for me include "Start the Show","U Black Maybe","Misunderstood","Forever Begins" & "Break my heart". Get this album, add it to the collection. Get some good music for the soul. Common is important to the game right now.
