Free Music Notes for Finding ForeverFree Music Review: Acoustic Healing Hit: 5 Stars
This album is instant vintage, and a requirement for any true music connoisseur. Common dares to challenge the ideology that Hip-Hop is dead with this effort. Indeed we've heard true hiphop sparingly since the mid 90's...Looks like Common, Talib, Kanye and a select few others are determined to reverse the corporate (gangsta) influence on the art form. Thank God for heroes when they come to save the masses from the artlessness of money worshippers...
Free Music Review: Finding Forever Hit: 5 Stars
This cd is phenomenal! The artistic and producing style of Common is incredible. I'm in love with just about all the tracks on this cd. Some reach back to the old school (The Game) while others are contemporary and novel. I cannot believe I've slept on this artist this long but I do intend to pick up his other cds. Common definitely has the longevity and talent to leave an indelible mark on hip hop.
Free Music Review: This Is The Good Stuff Hit: 5 Stars
As the album begins I feel something inside my heart, but I can't quite explain it. The lyrics start, my head begins to bob, and I smile. There's just something about a quality piece of work that gives you the right vibe. This album is a cruiser and manages to not fail the listener. I seem to be enjoying this one slightly more than "Be". Very deep and juicy hip-hop work by Common.
Free Music Review: Welcome to the southside Hit: 5 Stars
Once again Common did it again. Great follow up album to "Be" This album displays hip-hop at its best. It is refreshing to hear that arists are still amking real hip-hop music. This album has a nice mix as songs ranging from more gritty songs "like the game" to more relaxed songs like "drivin me wild" This is a must have album for any common fan or hip-hp fan in general.
Free Music Review: REMARKABLE!!! Hit: 5 Stars
Just bought this album not too long ago and the CD ROCKS SOMETHING SERIOUS OF HIP HOP. It's like one of those albums where you put your headphones on, close your eyes and just let your head nod as you are mentally taken into some Mythical journey. With this "Snap and Pop" generation, I almost had to shed a tear when I was listening to this Common album. My respects!!
