Free Music Notes for Concord Jazz Sampler Vol.2Free Music Review: Good combination Hit: 4 StarsI'm new (and apparantly late) to the SACD world. I bought a few from Amazon to check it out. This collection gives a nice mix of Jazz styles, vocals, strings, horns in many tempos. Not only A very nice sampler, but a nice mix to play to hear high quality in varied forms.
Free Music Review: jazzy sacd Hit: 5 Starsexcellent sound, great for showing off sacd capabilities. seriously recommend it. I'm not a jazz listener, but this sacd is worth listening to.
Free Music Review: A Sampler for Everyone Hit: 3 StarsAbout what you would expect from a sampler CD. The tracks range from OK to outstanding. As a big Maynard Ferguson fan, I purchased it for the MF track which is good, but track 3: The Real Blues by The Ray Brown Trio is currently my favorite "demo" track for my new speakers (Gallo Reference 3 and A'Diva Titanium surrounds). The texture of the bass solos that start and end the track are incredible. You may find a new favorite on this disc and it is a great way to audition a dozen SACDs.
Free Music Review: A nice collection! Hit: 5 StarsFound this while surfing Amazon, picked it up as a blind buy, and am quite happy that I did. It's a nice collection of music, a lot of which I was not familiar with. Recommend.
Free Music Review: Good Music Hit: 5 StarsI rate 5 star for the music, 5 star for sound quality and 4 star for surround mix. I'm not disappoint when listen to this album, each track on this album is very well selected.
I enjoy even when I listen with red book player. The CD layer also very good when compare to SACD layer.
One of my favorite album.
