Free Music Notes for Corinne Bailey RaeFree Music Review: New Fan Hit: 5 StarsOne of my friends left Corinne's self-title album in my car a month ago and I haven't stopped listening to it everytime I drive anywhere. I'm an adoring new fan!
Free Music Review: Convert Hit: 5 StarsI had only heard 'Put Your Records On' and though I liked the song, quickly dismissed Corinne Bailey Rae as another top 40 1 hit wonder Starbucks neo-soul artist. Big mistake.
This is definitely one of the most inspiring albums I've heard in a while. The production knocks (lots of keys, clean guitar, horns) and her voice is distinct, unique, and honest. Add to the that thoughtful insightful songwriting and you have a Classic with a capital C.
This coming from someone who generally only listens to Kanye and 70's soul.
Free Music Review: Its OK Hit: 3 StarsThe CD is just alright. I only like a couple of the songs. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.
Free Music Review: Feel Good Music Hit: 5 StarsCorinne Bailey Rae makes the "Feel Good" album of the year. Every song takes you to another place, another mood, another feeling. From "Love" to "Little Girls playing Double Dutch on the concrete", you can picture it all. What a voice, what an album of pure, absolute raw talent and fun.
I recommend this album to everyone and have actually bought this as a gift for many of my friends.
Free Music Review: CD Hit: 5 StarsThis is a wonderful CD - the songs are all great. You will love this one -buy it you will not be sorry. Corinne is great.
