The enthusiasm and energy Cory brings to the stage is nothing but amazing. We have seen him 3 times live now and can't wait until the next show!!! And when we can't wait until the next live performance we just pop in the bonus DVD!! I just wish more artists would be as innovative as Cory and provide the fans with video performance such as Cory does. Two Thumbs WAY up!!!

Free Music Review: Texas Country At It's Best
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a great example of Texas country at its best. This live CD shows off Cory at his best from Austin. The Bonus DVD is just amazing. If you haven't seen him live I highly recommend getting this as it shows how much he is loved in Texas. This was my first introduction to his music, after seeing him live i went out and bought this cd and I just love it. My favorite track is Texas Time Travelin' and the new studio tracks are great. Go support Cory!

This CD is one of the best Cory Morrow CD's ever. With songs like Straight To Hell, Beer, and Songwriter's Lament on the live postion how could you not love this album. With this being a live CD he bring his best feature to this album. His live peformace. The three new studio song do not let down either. GTMO Blues writen after his trip to the Cuban Navy Base is a poinet song with aboulst honstey. The bonus DVD is a plus because if you have never seen Cory in concert get this album and you will see why he is so loved in Texas. Buy this album.

Free Music Review: Cory's Perspective
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD is awesome! On this album you get to see another side of Cory which could only be replicated by going to a live show. The CD has three studio recordings and thirteen live tracks, not to mention a bonus two hour DVD! The melodies range from some of his very first songs up to new unreleased tracks, which gives you a full spectrum of Cory's talents; hence the title "Full Exposure". The CD is great, but the DVD is another party in itself. With over two hours of concert footage from tours, to Cory burnin' rubber in an old school porche, the DVD can serve as a concert in your house! If you are even thinking of getting this CD, YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD!

Free Music Review: +1/2 -- CD/DVD combo fleshes out the live Morrow
Hit: 3 Stars

Morrow's known outside of his native Texas mostly through his recordings, the sales of which couldn't help but lag his enormous popularity on the Texas roadhouse/frathouse/dancehall circuit. This latest release should help narrow that discontinuity, with a mostly-live CD and a two-hour DVD that show just why Morrow is such a favorite in the Lone Star state.

The CD includes a trio of new studio tracks produced by Ray Kennedy, and thirteen cuts recorded live at Austin's Waterloo Park. The new tracks are worthwhile additions to Morrow's catalog, and the live set features many crowd favorites. Even the more contemplative numbers, like "Drinkin' Alone," pick up a rowdy concert tone on stage.

More suited for live performance are a fine cover of Billy Joe Shaver's "Live Forever," and Morrow's own Texas chart hit "Love Me Like You Used To Do" (from his 2002 release, "Outside the Lines"). The crowd is pumped up with the sing-a-long favorite "Light on the Stage," the rowdy "Big City Stripper," and a cover (sung as a duet with fellow Texan, Pat Greene) of Waylon Jennings' "Are You Sure Hank Done it This Way?"

The accompanying DVD includes nearly all of the songs on the CD, along with behind-the-scenes footage of Morrow, his band and his fans. Watching the extras takes the viewer into something of a parallel universe in which Morrow is as well-known a music star as many nationally lauded artists. This makes the footage of Morrow skydiving, golfing, motorcycle racing and driving his Cobra fan-only affairs, as are the testimonials from fellow circuit-riders Daryl Worley and Pat Green, and cameos from Willie Nelson and Ray Wylie Hubbard. The concert footage itself is intercut with audience shots and footage that turns many of the songs into mini-videos.

Morrow's 2001 double CD "Double Exposure" gave fans a generous helping of his stage work; this CD/DVD release updates the catalog and provides the visuals to accompany the audio. Though his tight touring radius of Texas roadhouses (with the occasional turn into Arkansas or Oklahoma) finds his reputation outrunning his tour bus, this package shows his band to be a crack live unit, and Morrow himself a strong, crowd-pleasing performer.
