This mid-sixties tour de' force shows why the Basie Band was world renowned for it's ability to take an otherwise mundane waltz tune and swing it into gear. Add Frank's sometimes glib, sometimes forceful vocals and how can you go wrong. A young Quincy Jones did all the arrangements for the record. His mindful voicings in the sax section is most notable. Sonny Payne's drumming drives the band straight through the roof. The classic versions of "I've Got You Under My Skin" and "Fly Me To The Moon" appear in all thier glory. A "must have" for any Sinatra/Basie collection.
