Free Music Notes for Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings (Eco)Free Music Review: very fine record... Hit: 5 Stars
Counting Crows return with a vengence with this latest release, "Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings." A nice bridge between newer fans from the Hard Candy/Accidentally in Love era, and long time fans of the band. If you like Counting Crows, you will love this album. If you wrote the Crows off after RTS, it's worth a shot. And new fans should enjoy this as well. This is my second favorite CC album, nipping at the heels of August and Everything After. Enjoy the record!
Free Music Review: At Last Hit: 5 Stars
After 5 years the boys are back.
Adam is at his vocal best.
The album is different enough to attract new fans and satisfy critics, but with that same Counting Crows soul that die hard fans crave.
Listen to it a few times before passing judgement.
Thanks Adam for making the record you wanted in the face of "...pretty much universal disapproval... " It is the record it should be.
Two thumbs up, 5/5 and any other cliche reviewers like to use!!
Free Music Review: Good things come to those who wait... Hit: 5 Stars
We've waited 15 years for this! Finally, an album that has more of an "August and Everything After" feel! That is that Counting Crows freshman release that we all fell in love with. For Gen Xer's like myself, AAEA was a soundtrack to our awkward transitional years and will always hold a special place in our music loving hearts!
This album will replace "Recovering the Satellites" for those of you who ranked it as second best in your CC collection!
Free Music Review: New Crows Hit: 5 Stars
the newest album by the counting crows is going to be hot. i have heard every track on the album and i have to say it is very good, its like every other crow album combined mixed in with extra emotion. the single is obviously one of the best tracks on the album. i would say my favorite tracks are "when i dream of Michael Angelo", "you can't count on me", and "hanging tree". but those are just my faves, there are more good tracks. everybody needs to go buy it
Free Music Review: One of their best Hit: 5 Stars
If I can put a CD in and let it play nonstop, over and over again, to me thats the sign of a great album. Just like August and Everything After, I can play this CD over and over again and not get tired of it. Im no music reviewer but this CD has, in my opinion, alot of the grittiness that made August and Everything after so appealing. Its not some effort to make a bubble-gum record. If youre a true fan of their music, youll love this CD.
