Free Music Review: Perfect yet again......like the new Poi Dog Pondering '7' CD

Incredible...this has been a great year for music. The new REM (except the sound quality) and this CD were a long wait well worth it. The only CD that I have enjoyed more, is the new Poi Dog Pondering '7' CD. Check it out, you owe it to yourself, and every friend you have to buy that CD.
It's wonderful to see a return to true songwriting, with all the junk that has been on the radio and mtv for the last decade.

This album isn't their best, but it's very good. The counting crows are very slow to put out albums and their live show isn't very good. The band is tight and he sings well, but he changes the musical arrangements live which is annoying. You can't really recognize his songs live. They've always done this and it's annoying. I have been following the band since about 1993, Adam Duritz has one of the few male voices that (still) gives me goosebumps. Had to wait a long time for this album and it really does take a few listens to get into it.. But once it does grab you, it never left the cd-player in the car for a whole week. I doubt anything can top the first album but there are some gems on this one too!Free Music Review: Great CD

Been waiting for this one for a while. Huge fan since August and Everything After. I never had a chance to see them live until about 6 months ago. They played Washington Square towards the end and--like every song they sang that night--you could see Adam means what he's singing--you can see it in his eyes according to my fiance. You feel that too in this CD.Free Music Review: The Crows nest at the top of my charts.

This is a wonderful example of how great the band is live. This is a fantastic example of their music you never hear on the radio. The first half, Saturday Night is plenty upbeat and keeps your toe tapping, the second half, Sunday Morning is a calm, mellow selection of songs to chill to. Give this CD a try to hear the Crows' range of songs and songwriting.
