Free Music Notes for Chronicle Vol. 2: Twenty Great CCR ClassicsFree Music Review: Don't dismiss it because of the lack of hits! Hit: 5 Stars
Vol. 1 may have had all those songs you can sing along to even if you don't know who CCR is. Vol 2 is not as accessable, but I would probably say it is better than Vol. 1 because you haven't heard all these songs over and over again. Listening to this, you realize how amazing CCR is. Nearly any one of these songs could have been a hit song, and the reason people dismiss them is because they never heard these songs before. You need this comp if you like CCR at all!
Free Music Review: Nice Follow=Up To Chronicle Hit: 5 Stars
This is an excellent follow-up to Creedence Clearwater's greatist hits collection Chronicle. While on volumn one only their radio hits are involved, Chronicle Two completes the set with lesser known and sometimes better Creedence Clearwater songs. Between both albums a moderate fan of Creedence should be happy. Creedence Clearwater set the standard for rootsy rock music, and the songs on this album are comparable to their better known hit songs.
Free Music Review: The best and awesome CCR second anthology collection rules! Hit: 5 Stars
I only remember when me and my dad use to own an old fashioned record player long ago where we lived in the country not in the city at that time. We had a Creedence Clearwater Revival album called Cosmo's Factory which these songs were on their like "My Baby Left Me" and "Before You Accuse Me". Brings back a lot of good memories and the nostalgic harmony in my life here just as I'm listening to it now!
Free Music Review: Chronicles 2: Twenty great CCR Classics by Creedence Clearwater Revival Hit: 5 Stars
The band CCR formed during the turbulent times of the 60s and early 70s, they gave poetic justice to that period with original compositions and made even greater classics out of old tunes. They created entertaining melodies with political fore-thought. They did this without profanity nor by debasing the religious beliefs of others...unlike many of today's young artists. This album deserves five stars.
Free Music Review: A very recommendable companion to Chronicle Volume 1. Hit: 5 Stars
The songs on this CD are great and will be enjoyed by new fans of this very underrated american band. CCR, I believe, deserves as much praise and recognition given to other Rock bands from the late 60's and early 70's. If you have Chronicle 1 and loved it, buy this CD and you will love it too!
