This soudtrack means more to me than any other music compilation avaialable. Every song is carefully chosen to speak to the heart and mind of the listener and viewer of the Crooklyn film. It's a compilation of eclectic time-appropriate songs that portray the passion and atmosphere of the time period and culture it represents. The song "Oooh Child" has given me hope and encouragement through many of life's unexpected tragedies, and I appreciate every aspect of the music offered in this CD.
