Free Music Notes for We All Go Home AlbumFree Music Review: Like father ,like son? Hit: 3 Stars
I bought this CD in hopes of a "new voice" of son of Kenny Loggins. The
band is very good ,tight, structured. When Crosby "sings out" on a non-balled tune ,I think his voice does shine very well. When he is doing ballads, he sounds just like John Mayer. His picks for tunes are ok. I think that with this being the launching CD career for this young man,its a start. I even went to U-TUBE to see him in action. Like I stated before, good band, but something is missing. This is called a dynamic vocal range. When he sings ballads it does somewhat remind me of his Dad,but its just not there.Dont get my wrong ,I do think the gentleman is quite talented, but as we have seen before, with people like Sting's son, its best to be yourself. The orchestration and chords sound like a chip off the old block. You have to back up what you are going to present to the audience. I am going really sit down and listen quite carefully this CD,it may just grow on me. Get it for the "history of". Right now
Crosby Loggins has to find himself.
