Free Music Notes for Join the Dots: B-Sides & Rarities 1978-2001Free Music Review: Waited so long Hit: 5 Stars
A few years ago I was saying how much I missed the familiar guitars, beats, and sounds -- and hearing them in new ways. Granted, after Disintegration I wandered away from the Cure, thinking they had finally sold out (Bloodflowers delightedly proved me wrong). For anyone who has memorized (almost) all Cure songs available to the human ear (in one form or another), you have got to get this. It's a blissful revisiting of the past, and a deft mix for the future.
Free Music Review: as if the cure needed an endorsement.... Hit: 5 Stars
i bought this after trying in vain for several years to replace a copy of 'breathe' and 'a chain of flowers'. even if, like me, you already own most of these songs, it is nice to have all of them in one collection.the cure is one of the most musically and lyrically versatile bands ever. they have been in my personal top 5 favourite artists for more than a dozen years. anyone who is a fan should have this boxed set - enough said. :D
Free Music Review: FANTASTIC 4 CD BOX SET FROM THE KING OF "GOTH" ROCK!!! Hit: 5 Stars
GREAT BOX SET PERIOD!!! This box set contains 4 cd's of B-sides, rarities, and previouly unreleased material. It also contains a booklet inside, that explains the songs, and a message from Robert Smith. There are some great songs in this set, including some different versions of some songs previously released, plus, there are some "Cure" versions of some Jimi Hendrix's songs. If you like the "Cure", this is a must have CD box set!!!
Free Music Review: You can't go wrong with this box set! Hit: 5 Stars
If you are a lover of The Cure you need this! It has some songs you might not have heard before, and some remixes of familiar favorites like A Forest, Just Like Heaven, etc. This will keep me occupied until their new CD comes out this month :) It comes in a lovely hard cover book format. It has 2 CD's in front, 2 in back, and 76 pages of various photos, as well as notes and stories on the songs included.
Free Music Review: The Cure at it's best Hit: 5 Stars
"The first thing I always did when I got a new single," remembers RObert Smith, "Was flip it over and play the other side. I always hoped the B-Side would give me another version of the artist, something as good as the A-Side but somehow differnt. I expected great B-Sides from the artists I loved..."The Cure has given us a great boxed set of all the b-sides. This is a wonderful collection!
