Free Music Review: A Classic From The Menstrual Minstrels Hit: 5 StarsOrigionally released under the title "Swastikas for Noddy", this work by Current 93 is a classic and if you enjoy their music, especially their earlier works, this is a must-have. It is very dark folksy and heavy on the Pagan imagery, and it reminds you a bit of Death In June at times. In fact, Douglas P. of DiJ is a guest on the album, as is John Balance of Coil and also Boyd Rice. I have been a diehard Current 93 fan for years, and I admit some of their recent works like "Soft Black Stars" have seemed a bit weak and - yes - even a bit heavy on the Christianity for my taste. So if you yearn, like me, for the heavy Current 93 of the good 'ol Pigface Christus days, this CD will not disappoint. That is not to say that their newer works aren't worthy... quite the contrary. Some of my all-time favorite Current 93 CD's have come out within the past few years, such as "Faust" and "I Have A Special Plan For This World". But "Swastikas For Noddy" is a definite classic. A "must have" basic for any C93/DiJ fan's collection.
Free Music Review: A great Odinist CD; very cosmic Odinist music, Hit: 5 StarsOne of the better Odinist Cds I have heard. Great Pagan music. Sounds a bit like Death in June or Fire and Ice. Very Gothic. Industral music. Pagan Music. Heavy into Odinist, Pagan Folkish images. Wyatt Kaldenberg
Free Music Review: THEIR BEST Hit: 5 StarsOKAY, IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY READING THIS, THEN YOU ARE ALREADY FAMILIAR WITH CURRENT 93. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS ALBUM, YOU ARE MISSING SOME GREAT STUFF. BOYD RICE HELPS OUT A BIT TO MAKE THIS MY PERSONAL FAVORITE.
