This is a must have compilation to round out your collection of "best of" and "greatest hits" albums. Cindy Lauper had some wonderful hits, great songs and fantastic lyrics. This is a superb recording that brings back tons of memories from my youth. I was growing up in New York City during the time with Cindy Lauper was hot! Great collection and the DIVA bouces back! Finnally the GOONIES. I Drove All Night blows Celine Dion out of space. Cyndi Lauper ESSENTIAL is for real one of the best collection ever. One of the best collection of the DIVA. Finaly the GOONIES. If you are fan of Cyndi Lauper buy it, because the BEST of her is there. So bad SHINE and HIGH PLANE are not in this collection. Guys WHERE IS SHINE? I love this CD! Buy it and you will be pleased. The DIVA bounces back!
