Free Music Notes for Devil's Night

Free Music Review: Eminem multiplied by 6!
Hit: 5 Stars

I was rather skeptical whether or not D12, Eminem's new rap group, could live up to their hype. However, after only one listen, it easily surpasses Eminem's Marshall Mathers LP! All of the MC's have a wicked flow, great delivery, Outstanding lyrical ability, and a twisted mind, which makes every line fun to listen to and adreneline pumping. Dr. Dre shows up to produce four tracks, and every one of them is a vintage Dre track, from the Real Slim Shadyish "Aint Nuttin but Music", To the the funky bass of "Nasty Mind", to the fist pumping energy of fight music, Dre does this dirty dozen a HUGE Favor. However, the producing star here is none other than Slim Shady himself. He take on eight track, and Does a very admirable job. "Pimp like Me" is what they call ..., "Blow my buzz" is a smooth flowing party, and the hidden track "Girls" Has a perfect Eerie track to accompany Em's rants about Bizkit. Also, you gotta check out D12 member Bizarre. This is the only guy I have ever heard that has a sicker mind than Eminem. His perversion mixed with the Kon Artist's energy, Eminem's Verbal ability, and Proof's flow make this CD an awesome one! So basically, if you are scared to hear shock rap, do not listen to this. But if you wanna hear some great flow and great production mixed with clever and sick lyric, pick this CD up now! YOu Will NOT be disappointed!

Free Music Review: D12 takes rap to the extreme...
Hit: 5 Stars

Eminem, you've done it again. Not only have you brought more ill and controversial lyrics to piss the world off, but you brought five friends along to help you do it. You're a genius!

I heard "Purple Hills" and I knew right then and there I had to get "Devil's Night". I was anticipating the debut of this CD so I could get my hands on it, and I wasn't disappointed at all. This CD has so many tight songs and dope beats.

There is a significance to the two Eminem CDs; there's a public service announcement. But, at least this one has a purpose: If you are easily offended by the content used on this CD, DON'T LISTEN TO IT!

If...no...WHEN you buy this CD, the tracks you should listen to first would be "Purple Pills" (duh!), "Instigator", "Pimp Like Me", "Devil's Night", "Revelation", and "Girls" (the hidden bonus track). Those display the talent that these members have, and these songs also make "Devil's Night" worth the money.

A lot of Eminem fans are gonna buy this CD, but to your surprise, Eminem is really not included in a lot of these songs. But, that's a better advantage for the other five members to show off their skill.

I highly recommend this CD. Trust me, you won't be disappointed, and if you are, then you have no taste in music.

Free Music Review: Superb
Hit: 5 Stars

This was a great album by Eminem and company who tried like mad on this 1!But I'm kinda losing faith in Eminem and D12 because heres my verdict on the albums below

Eminem-Slim Shady LP-Great lyrics here and is very good! 8.5/10
Eminem-Marshall Mathers LP-Great album again but better than Slim Shady LP!9/10
D12-Devils Night-This is very good and is worth buying and only 3 bad songs outta 19 (Even the skits r good)! 9.5/10
Eminem-The Eminem Show-Best album by him where he put tons of effort but if they replaced Square Dance and Hailies song with Rabbit Run and Lose Yourself it would be a 10/10 album! 9.5/10
D12-D12 World-The start of Eminems fall with a poppish album and the terrible My Band (I'm scared of the god damn song now!) 3.5/10 (Because of 40 0z,Good Die Young and How Come)
Eminem-Encore-What the hell is this?Have Eminem and Dr Dre been kidnapped and replaced by 2 lookalikes? He has fallen down now! 3/10

D12 PLEASE go back and listen to this and make your 3rd album sound like this PLEASE!Oh and Eminem aint going to retire I heard today so lets hope he go's back to what made him a legend,Not the poppish Encore, but Eminem Show and the other 2!Same goes to u D12!Still this is great, particualy Fight Music and American Phsyco!
P.S Avoid Bizzares solo album,its s**t!

Free Music Review: a dark but mesmerizing album
Hit: 5 Stars

D12 must be one of the most serious groups of rappers to emerge in years--and possibly
the most brilliant. Not since the days of Dr. Dre and the NWA have I heard flows similar
to those on this magnificent album from D12. Of all the rappers today only Eminem
himself is better than D12. One may in fact glimpse the spirit of D12 in the sinister
flows of solo Eminem. The flows on Devil's Night like those on The Eminem Show are swift and relentless and favor substance over style. Like Eminem the rappers of D12 stuff their lines with metaphor and alliteration, magic and meaning. The rappers focus on violence and so blood and murder pervade many descriptions throughout the album. Consider Swifty: "So Why Should I ever fear another man / If he bleeds like I bleed takes a ____ while he stand?" Of all the rappers in D12 Swifty is the best.

The flows of D12 in this album have a dark
tone and otherworldly mood. The effect is to create an atmosphere of melancholy and
doom in many songs. In the bloody vicious Detroit evoked by Devil's Night the rappers like so many people of all colors in this country search for dignity and courage. Sometimes amid the chaos they manage, whether by the grace of God or the power of friendship and decency, to find tiny glimmers of redemption.

Free Music Review: best album I've heard since 'Dr. Dre 2001'
Hit: 5 Stars

As soon as I heard "Another Public Service Annoncement" and laughed pretty hard at the end, I knew it would be good. I was very pleased to say the least. However, if you are looking for lyrics that are not as in your face as "Marshall Mathers LP" then do not purchase this album. For instance on song has a lyric that talks about having his mother mad at him because she jerked him off and he didn't come. But in the midst of all the beats and great rhymes you grow to love this cd. Highlights are "Fight Music," "Nasty Mind," "Pimp like Me," and the hidden track "Girls" which really slams Fred Durst and DJ Lethal of Limp Bizkit. "Girls" really shows Eminems talent, on this song all he does is whine about how he got dissed by them, but he does it so well that you can't help but get into the song, seriously there is no real message with this song, well unless you are a member of Limp Bizkit. The other standout track would have to be, "Aint Nuttin But Music" again with references to Britany Spears, Backstreet Boys, NSync, Christina Aguilera, and Limp Bizkit. If you liked "Marshall Mathers Lp" for its brashness with the lyrics and beats then give D12 a try they are all very talented and entertaining.
