Free Music Review: Good but not the best ISOS

ISOS 6: Ibiza has a couple great tracks including Imogen Heap and Contact but the rest is just subpar. Many of the songs are fillers and/or doesn't give that vibe that the previous ISOS were able to. I listened to the whole mix straight through three times and still I wasn't able to get into it. The transitioning between the tracks was great in this mix, but the vocals and beats just don't seem to do it for me. I have been a huge longtime fan of Tiesto, and he is still one of my favorite DJs. I have always raved about his ISOS series, but this one just didn't meet my expectations. I still think ISOS 2, 4, and 5 were his best mixes with excellent track variety and great vocals.
Armin's ASOT 2007 is still by far the best compilation for 2007 with amazing vocals and beats in CD 1. However, Tiesto's live performances are the most energetic, and perhaps listening to him spin this mix live on stage will intrigue me to like this mix more. But until then, this compilation overall is ok. Will still be looking forward to ISOS 7!!
