I would have to say that Tiesto's Magik series was some of the most original music that he produced. That series was so different from anything else produced at that time--very innovative. I found myself increasingly disappointed with each ISOS released as they became increasingly dull. On top of that, it was near impossible to distinguish ISOS 4 and 5 from Armin van Buuren's State of Trance 2005 and 2006, respectively, and I feared that they were slowly converging into the same artist. I was certain that ISOS 6 would essentially be identical to State of Trance 2007.
I could not have been more wrong! Tiesto has returned in all of his glory! I had access to the first CD before it was released and was immediately hooked. As was mentioned by others, the second CD is quite different from the tired tracks that have typically been in an ISOS release. The second CD reminded me very much of Magik 3. If you were at all a fan of the Magik series, then this is a must buy.

When every trance comp begins to sound the same and houses identical tracklists... you can always put your money on Tiesto to bring something fresh to the table! And that's exactly what he does with this stormer! In Search of Sunrise 6 is nothing short of spectacular, and before I continue I will boldly state that this comp is right up there with ISOS 1,2 & 3!! I know that is a big statement, and it might be hard to believe it, but believe me when I say this is THE album of the summer. If you close your eyes and just listen to the music that resonates through your speakers, headphones, or monitors you will escape to that little island off the coast of Spain!
GET IT NOW, believe me you won't regret it for a single second!

After owning the rest of the ISOS series from Tiesto, I knew what to expect before purchasing ISOS 6. Man was I wrong! This installment of the series just blows away the previous 2... It is not as good as ISOS 1 & 3 (which i believe are just incredible) but this is certainly worth a listen and well worth your time and money for any true Tiesto fan and Electronic/Trance fan alike. You will not be disappointed and will be mesmorized by this master as he spins you into another world. You can listen to this album straight through without skipping any tracks. After IOS 4, IOS 5, finally Tiesto puts together an IOS album at the same level or maybe more than IOS vol3. This edition really goes far in modern trance/electronic, this one has a concept -- a start and an end. You can get into very easy.
Disc 1: smooth trance with outstanding vocals, great for a lounge type of night. Disc 2 great beats, great vocals incredible mix good to kick off the night.
Overall all the song selection is great and the mixing u can't get better than Tiesto.
If you like IOS 3, you will love this edition.

I have all Tiesto's "In Search of Sunrise" CD's and this one is by far the best one, in my opinion!
Especially Disc 1! I keep listening to "Madras," "The Sun Shine," "See the Difference," and "Lonely" as I drive my daily commute.
Do you need music to relax you and get you in a positive energized mood? You just cannot top the "King of the Sawtooth Signal," Tiesto! And you will not find a better or more professionally mixed selection of uplifting Anthem Trance than this compilation Sunrise set 6!
