Free Music Review: It really is as it says -ALIVE
Hit: 5 Stars

This performance shows how forward thinking they have been in their music and despite the monotony of some original releases, they have layered and fused tracks into a truly moving and soulful thumping, riffing, mooging, feedback-squwarking frenzy. This is an amazing energizing reproduction of the best of Daft Punk, quite simply at their very best. Thomas and Guy Manuel, have always wanted to make good music for people to like and dance to. Now they have trumped themselves with a fantastic world concert tour, the only question remains, when will they release a concert DVD!!!!??? PLEASE!

I flew from Dallas, Texas to Melbourne Australia to witness the live spectacle, it was beyond words -one simply has to see and experience the energy of a crowd of 20,000 focused on two robots in a pyramid. This release gives you an idea of what that's like. Buy this for someone you love that loves Daft Punk, but they'll probably have it already :)

Free Music Review: One of the best live albums I've ever listened to - Daft Punk's Christmas present to the world!
Hit: 5 Stars

Considering I'm a hardcore Daft Punk fan, I just had to pick this up. Man alive, was I lucky that I did. Whether you're new or not to Daft Punk, this is an excellent CD. This is good for newcomers because it offers a lot of the songs from Daft Punk's three-album (studio album) catalogue. More longtime Daft Punk fans like myself will love it because it takes some of their best songs and works them all together in techno-styled jams.
I would honestly never imagine myself listening to a 74-minute album all the way through, but Daft Punk has made such an awesome live album that I loved every second it. The way they take, sometimes as many as four songs and combine them on one track offers such creativity, and there are plenty of moments on this album that will make you think, "That's awesome!".
Trust me, if you like Daft Punk, or you want to get into them, get this! Thanks for the time, and peace, and a Merry Christmas to all!

Free Music Review: One of the Best Live Albums ever...
Hit: 5 Stars

What can be said about Daft Punk that already hasn't been said?? They are simply the greatest electronic music group in the world. Although there are many talented DJ's out there, no one beats Daft Punk, and this album proves it. Its a non-stop party from start to finish, with Daft Punk in complete control of the audience the whole time. If you want to feel good, put a smile on your face, and give yourself a great feeling about life, then pick up this album. Put it in, turn up the volume, and get ready for music that will blow you away. They seamlessly mix songs together, intertwining sounds, beats and other noises to form one awesome sound. A truly classic album from a truly legendary duo.

Free Music Review: Electronic Life
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD captures two things:
- a great, great live electronic show
- an excellent band at the peak of their skill
The dynamism that emanates from this set via the CD is second only to actually seeing the set in person. This recording captures the build, blend, and drive of good electronic music so well that after listening to it you'll look at many other DJ CDs in your collection in a new (less than flattering) light.

What Daft Punk have created is nothing less than the zeitgeist of 2007/2008 electronic music. If only one could record and experience the light show that went with this concert in full effect; then the experience would be complete.

Free Music Review: Amazing
Hit: 5 Stars

I bought Homework back in the 90's when Daft Punk released Da Funk and thought it was OK. Two or three great songs, the rest was background music. I bought Discovery as well and it didn't do a lot for me. I let the next album go through to the keeper.

But a friend lent me this album two days ago and I think I'm on my fifth listen already. Fantastic live album, as the other reviewers mention, they really do capture the energy of a concert. The "it" moment for me on this album is about 3:40 into Touch it / technologic when the beat kicks in.

If you've ever found yourself bopping along to "Da Funk" or "One More Time", you'll love this album.
