Upon initially receiving this album, I was a little worried it would be repetitive at times like Daft Punk's songs on their other albums. Don't get me wrong I really love Discovery and Human After All (and some from Homework), but I can only handle so much before I get bored.
However, Alive 2007 sounds so amazing. I'm very satisfied with the way they mixed the songs together and changed up some of their sounds. I'm not always articulate with my words, so I'll just say that any Daft Punk fan should love this as well as some others that may normally find them too repetitive. This album makes me crave for more tour dates so I can finally see them live!

Recorded live(obviously) over two nights in the duo's hometown of Paris, France. Daft Punk deliver an mind melting slice of Techno heaven.
the mixes featured on this album are nothing short of stunning. the atmosphere of the night is captured just about as well as it can be on a live record.
Alive 2007 is the perfect CD to put on before you go out as this will get you in the mood for a party.
on a side note, Daft Punk were on the bill for a music festival I was at this summer, and I decided not to watch them, that is on my list of regrets.

Honestly, I don't think it is even fair for me to review this album. I went and saw Daft Punk play this set live in Berkeley, CA and well... it was the absolute best show of my life. Revisiting it again on CD sends massive chills down my spine and almost brings tears to my eyes. I can't say enough to people about how good the live experience was. If you missed it, then I sure hope Daft Punk does another tour, because it is something that really can't be explained. The energy, the emotion, and the dancing... absolutely perfect. 500,000,000 stars from me.Free Music Review: It's okay.

More fun than a budget meeting, more rumpshaking than picking turnips, more shiny than a lump of coal, "Alive 2007" is definitely a CD. There is, in fact, music on this disc and it will, indeed, play in players designed for the playback of redbook standard discs. I found it pleasant, though you may or may not enjoy it depending upon your own personal tastes, subjective to your desire to listen to a competently mixed album, and how much you do or do not like French electronic music. While the originals were great, Daft Punk do themselves justice with these amazing remixes. The tunes we all know and love are revitalized, revamped, and really brought to life. Feeling familiar, yet new and crisp, this album is a must-listen!
I was hoping to see the "Television Rules the Nation/Harder Better Faster Stronger" version from Youtube on this album, which was absolutely bomb! But I am in no way disappointed with Alive 2007. This album is dope and there's nothing negative I can say about it.
