Everything from amazing breaks to smooth transitions are not only ones that impressed me; it is the astonishment of experiencing the vitality and energy in which it creats to alter your state of mind, one that does in a subtle manuver which makes Daft Punk a rejuvination of the classical music era. Everthing from its composition to its development, Daft punk not only seeks similicity in the literal sense, but it also brings the primitive drive out of us: an abstract concept. after i bought discovery, i had to hear the album that got it all started. when i got homework, i shoved it into my cd player and loved what i heard. all the songs are really repetetive, but somehow, the beat just keeps making you dance. its a mixture of french-disco and french house music. Around the World is the best song on this album (mine got scratched, that song only!) but burnin' is a great song too with the same scratch being used over and over again. Revelution 909 is an awsome disco song that keeps you moving the whole 5 minutes. High Fidelity is another good song, you just cant understand what they aew saying. buy this cd if you are a fan of french-disco house music.Free Music Review: ALIVE

I really dig this CD because it has one of my favorite techno tracks of all-time on it, "Alive", which is worth the price of the CD alone. However, extra suspicious Prodigy fans may hate this CD because every track is too repetitive, but isn't every piece of music repetitive in one way or another? Support musicians, especially independent musicians like mr.deviant, and don't trade music on the internet.Oh and as requested, I want to recommend another instrumental CD, a killer instrumental CD, by Mr.Deviant called "Techno Obsession". It's a killer mix of power rock and hard dance music. Check it out if you don't fear any conspiracies.

Without a doubt, Daft Punk is the most talented group I have ever heard. They are intellectual geniuses. Contrary to what others may say, the music is not repetetive and it is very unpredictable. The more you listen the more you'll know what I mean. I got bored of the cd fast when I first got it but now I realize how to listen to it and I can't go a day without it. It is such good music that you can't listen to it like normal music. If you like to move with the music you should check these guys out. To think that it is nearly 10 years since this was released is incredible. I remember being freaked out by the Da Funk video with the talking dog and the video for Around The World was a clever piece of videowork. But anyway, it's incredible to think that after nearly a decade in circulation, it has aged well.
Despite, the previous two that I mentioned ( which have gone on to be dancefloor classics ), the rest of the album is just as good with particular mentions to Indo Silver Club and Alive. Alive in particular, sounds very claustrophobic. Really gets you going. Still worth it after all these years.
