Finaly a team of DJ's and samplers who actaully know whattheir doing.Every cut on "Homework" emphasises dancibility above
all else."Teachers" even offers a funky shout-out to every artist
known and unknwon who influenced the two and of course "Around The World" is "Around the World".The memorable "Fresh"
and "Pheonix also stand out,even ammong a little indulgent DJ
turntable noodling here and there.But no matter how they do it
it seems Daft Funk would be a better name because these tracks
GET DOWN!!
Free Music Review: Jaw-breaking in your face Techno! The FIRST in YEARS!

Daft Punk reaches all limits in the computerized techno music genre. This album packs both high voltage techno tunes and in your face fast-paced beats that keep you wanting more! I can't express how happy I was to stumble upon this techno-titan's album. To hear his music on surround theaters can intensify the experience and give you all around better sound quality, but even on a regular Sony Discman the sound blows you away. Daft Punk is one of my favorite techno artists and can now be classified as unsurmountable when it comes to mixing together a techno package for the ages.Free Music Review: It has become a classic. I saw one review here which said something about how bad Homework is because of the elemetry beats and the repetivness. This person obvisouly has no idea about how dance music was in the earlier acid days. Violent and repitivive is what they where going for in this album. If you like more pop/easy listning type of music, their second album Discovery is probably more for you. I like all their albums but I must say homework is my favourite. Its all about the TR-909, TR-808 beats, old samplers and dirty basslines produced by vintage synths like the korg ms-20 and so on! -Free Music Review: Disco, techno and pop say something, Daft Punk says it all!

Daft punk is one of the best sounds out there and has a very distinguished sound and no current genre really can describe it, this CD is more Disco and techno than pop but pop plays a big part in "Discovery"-which I highly recomend. The only problems are that the songs here are a little diferent from most others, but by no means less enjoyable, and some of the songs are trash, OH YEAH IS THE LAMEST THING ON EARTH! This music is the best for listening to while doing something else, like reading, or shopping for their next CD.Free Music Review: HOTDAMN!

I LOVE this CD!!!!! I collect mix/house/dance cds when I have the money or I feel like splurging the pennies I do have. This was a bargain compared to CDs I've bought in the past and it's five times better!!! Nearly a Friday goes by that I'm not pumpin' this up in my dorm room while tryin to do some cleaning before going out to party! It's also a great prep-pep album to get you blood going before you hear it again at the clubs!!GET IT, BUY IT, STEAL FOR IT or just plain STEAL IT! (j/k) Either way, you gotta have it!
