Free Music Review: The real "Band of the nineties"

Forget about Fatboy Slim's praise. This is the dance album of the 90's by the dance band of the nineties. I bought it based on the Around the World track and supporting video and it has become my favourite dance CD. Apart from Around the World the other hightlights (there are no duff tracks at all) are Revolution 909, Burnin' (the CD single is awesome too)and De Funk.STOP THE MUSIC AND GO HOME!

I've always loved listening to Daft Punk songs. While Discovery IMO is a better album, Homework is better for dancing and clubbin. There are classics like Revolution 909, Da Funk, and Around the World, and then there are kickass songs like Phoenix and Burnin, enough to make you want to dance around. If you are new to Daft Punk, get both Homework and Discovery. You can't go wrong with either.Free Music Review: Daft Punk keeps me popping! BUY IT QUICK

I have listened to Deep House, Techno, Ambient, Trance, Jungle and every other genre of dance music. Personally I hate labels, but bluntly put, Daft Punk is simply "funky". I would not hesitate to recommend this album to anyone! This music puts me into a smooth mellow hypnotic state. A year after owning the album, I still listen to my favorite cuts once a week. This CD is very repetitive and sometimes the songs only have 2 or three parts. Most ideas are rythmic and simple drum machine patterns are all over the place, but it all works. From the quiet house of Revolution 909, the assaulting simplistic modwheel adventure Rollin' and Scratchin', and the smooth flavor of Fresh, you know these guys aren't just screwing around with expensive synthesizers.Free Music Review: Psychedellia!

Homework by DaftPunk is by far the most awesome sound heard in a long time. The album, consisting of the phenomenal track 'rolling and scratching', transports the mind to another level altogether. Whether you want to dance on this sound, race with it or simply blare it on your speakers, Daft Punk ensures sound that has been unheard of before. Pick this cd up and you wont regret it.....
