Ocean Surf, actually is timeless and sublime. Sounds that would never change is locked into one CD. Unlike a similar CD such as Natural Sleep Inducement, Ocean Surf is only the sounds of breaking waves. Calm and gentle, the waves librate you from stress and anxiety. If not for long, at least for the moment. With no music, the sounds are nothing but natural and pure. The waves will NOT break noisily, and disturb the quiet. I bought this CD based on the reviews from Amazon customers. They were completely correct in saying this IS the CD to get. I am so tired of CD's that have music and animals, this is perfect. The gentle waves rush over pebbles on the shore and the sound is so clear and crisp that you can actually hear it!This is not your run of the mill ocean cd! Great nature albums are so acoustically balanced that they don't need music, and this is one of those albums. It's not busy with the sounds of other animals, or of anything else for that matter, just the sound of the surf. The beach where this was recorded must have had a very gentle ocean, as the waves don't seem to crash as much as they roll. Sometimes the sound of trickling water can be heard, as the wave slowly washes away. There are no sudden changes in volume or dynamics throughout the album making it perfect to put on repeat and fall asleep to.Free Music Review: The perfect ocean surf disc!

This is the disc I've been searching for! There are no annoying winged rats (you might call them sea gulls), no bells, no stupid tinkling pianos. The only thing on this disc is the sound of ocean waves breaking on a beach. It's perfect, relaxing, and doesn't sound synthesized.
