My 2 year old is hooked. He is our resident DJ and this is his new favorite of choice, and mine too. Nothing puts a smile on ALL our faces in the witching hours of late afternoon/early evening (when I'm trying to get dinner made) like this CD. Between Dan Zanes and Ralph Covert, my kids have stopped asking for TV. In fact, if the TV is on, the younger one will go turn on the music anyway. Dan Zanes rules! We have four of his CD's now, but this was our first. His music covers many genres, all upbeat, and is real "move around" music. My favorite on this CD is the Wabash Cannonball. My son loves House Party and my youngest daughter is a fan of the counting song; she has taught it to her entire pre-school class. If Dan's goal is to have everyone singing and dancing, then he has succeeded.Free Music Review: dan zanes & friends do it again!

i've been a fan of dan zanes for a while. his albums are one of the very few "children's" music CD's that i continue to listen to even when my daughter is not in the car. i wouldn't even classify them as "children's" music, but rather "family" music. this album is lots of fun and has a wide variety of music. you won't be disappointed with any of the dan zanes CD's, and this one is no exception.Free Music Review: Dan's first album...Wiggle the Wiggles out of your CD Player

You may have seen Dan on various spots on Sesame Street, I first saw him in his yellow suit, singing Jump Up. This album continues the wonderful music that my daughter has turned my wife and my self on to. The beats are there, and the lyrics are very catchy.
So do yourself a favor, swap out Wiggles or Barney for Dan and his Friends, and enjoy kids music once again.

My 2 1/2 year old son loves all of the albums, but this one is all of our favorites. We just saw Dan and friends in concert in the fall and it was an amazing show!
This music is so much fun and I love how they take old standards and breathe new life into them.
This is definitely "cool" kid's music. If you are a hip parent, you need to check this out!
