This is a must have! Dane Cook is one of the funniest comedians I have ever heard! Just great!
I love how everyone who gives a bad review of this cd keeps refering to IQ, intellegence, "newness to comedy" or age. These are just opinions guys, lighten up! I don't like onions, but I would not call you stupid, immature or a "newbie to food" if you did. That is the beauty of diversity, and if those differences cannot be appreciated...I'd say that is the lack of intellegence here. If you don't like the cds, simply say so and move on...Ps. I happen to love these other comedians mentioned (as being intellegent) in the negative reviews as well. The irony is that if you listened to Dane Cook's interviews he mentions some of the same guys as his inspirations as he grew up and in to comedy himself. And those of you who negatively mentioned his screaming, must hate Sam Kinison, cause nobody screams out better comedy than that guy.

Dane Cook is phenomenal in anything he is involved in. I first heard Dane Cook through some friends listening to Retalliation, and the who S*** on the coats skit and I thought this dude is really funny, for the simple fact hes not like every other comic who just stands there and tells jokes ( which is not bad..its just traditional) Dane Cook Breaks all the rules and sets his own standards and this CD is the start of it all, He has evolved alot since Harmful if Swallowed. and become a comic for the ages but he has some outstanding perfomances on this CD/DVD set. I find myself watching the DVD over and over again for his knockout standup on "Comedy Central Presents Dane Cook" Hes awesome and I never stop laughing my A** Off when hes on. I have tried to turn everyone on to his comedy some go with it some dont, hes really quite an aquired taste, you love him or you dont, hes my personal idol!!! DANE COOK ROCKS THE HOUSE SUFI!!!!!Free Music Review: DANE COOK rocks.

Not since Aunt Bunny's fall down the stairs have I laughed so hard. DANE COOK is the real deal. After years of being witness to way too many unfunny stand-up comics, this is a breath of fresh air (if I could've caught my breath, HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED had me splitting the side from begining to end). Comedy Central has made a smart move by releasing CD/DVD packages of some fantastic up and comming comedians (check out MITCH HEDBURG too, different from COOK, but hysterical nonetheless). A very animated COOK shows his talent in both audio and video segments and his style of stand-up is so confident, it feels less like written material and more like a funny guy just making you laugh. COOK is apt and well versed in entertaining fans of both witty banter and physical humor as well, making him a pro at his game. An extreemly entertaining couple of discs that anounces the footfall of one of the top acts in new American comedy.Free Music Review: heeey ritalin and lithium

ritalin and lithium man u need to take ur ritalin and get shot up with lithium. so people that aren't as intelligent as urself should listen cuz we're moronic fruitcakes who only laugh at fart jokes huh? well mr. australia i think ur people are just what u described. i don't see american people going up to crocidiles and jumping in for sH**z and gigglez just to see what happens, dangling their babies over the croc just to see what happens. one day when u live in a real country and someone smacks the arrogance out of ur mouth the yellow off ur teeth and the baby dangling genes out of ya . . .u can brag about being smart and telling "dumb people" to go buy comedy that u don't like or understand.

Um, hello? It took me forever to figure out how to get to this review page... Dane Cook has a fresh take on standup comedy and isn't afraid to say "f shoes!" His material hits close to home - it's enjoyable for all ages!
Harmfull if Swallowed is like a fine Little Debbie Swiss Cake Roll, if you will...with every joke, his character and talent unfold, exposing the irresistible yet unattainable hunk inside that is Dane Cook.
I may not know how I graduated from college or where that mysterious rash came from, but I do know that Dane Cook's CD/DVD was well-worth the investment!
